And people think I'm bad?

I should have a show.

[Will L.]

Will, I've got a project for you. Something to keep your mind off your domestic house husband duties. I'm sure you'll be interested. Plus I'll pay you so you can stop living off of Evangeline's money and she'll stop calling you a freeloader on facebook. Just kidding, she doesn't call you that on facebook.

Just twitter.

XOXO,

Anton

You can hold computers in your hand. And feel them. And touch them. And own them. You can even hit the print button and own whatever you want on them as well. Everything can 'crash.'

Or I can put it on the computer and someone steals it and calls it their own. I just don't like it. At all.

The same thing can happen with anything you write down!

They have to break into my shop or my apartment first to do that. Hell of a lot more difficult than doing a little cut and glue.

Or lift it off your person. Frankly, if you don't have your data protected that's your own fault.

And putting it on a piece of electronics is supposed to 'protect' it?

I'm pretty sure the news is filled with stories of identity theft and computer crashes and stuff like that.

Um no protecting it once it's there is supposed to protect it.

Someone can steal your identity by going through your trash.

I don't put my social security number in the trash. And I burn my mail.

You rent an apartment and own a business. You're on the grid whether you like it or not.

You never answered my earlier question.

Could you live for a week without all your personal computing technology?

I could. Wouldn't want to. Would lose an entire week's worth of work.

I'm simply saying you're one of those people whom, if technology crashed tomorrow, would suffer without your 'gadgets'.

I'm one of those people whom, if technology crashed tomorrow, would be hailed as a hero for fixing it.

There is also a small chance that it might be my fault.

Just throwing that out there.

You call it paranoia, I call it 'careful'.

No careful would be putting up a firewall and having hard to guess passwords and using common sense. Paranoia is not trusting technology and disavowing it's usefulness.

Why do I want a wall that's on fire? Seriously. That's- the most ridiculous thing I've heard of.

Lost cause. Go to the library and check out a book about firewalls.
