One would think you would learn a lesson from recent events.

If you punch someone, you'll get arrested.

And if I require surgery from this break in my cheekbone, I'm suing.

This month can end at any time.

I'm already expecting all charges to end up dropped. But I'll talk to the police after. Again.

For a home invasion and assault? What is the justice system coming to?

Anyone with enough money can pay the right people to make all their problems go away.

I do not like the look of defeat on you, sister.

[...] I want you to rest and relax. My driver will escort you wherever you need to go tomorrow and while you're out, we'll move you into the penthouse at the Aria to keep you away from these troublesome peasants.

Perhaps it's the drugs talking, then.

Neil's moving out. The enjoyment of this place will be quite decreased with him leaving.

I do hope so.

If this is the company he's keeping, then he's quite ill suited to you.

I don't even want him. He's not the man he was when we were together. But I like... seeing him.

Good. You've changed your mind again.[A pause.] Few people remain the same, Chloe.

Perhaps so. Let him go, he is not worth this amount of strife for you.

I talked to him earlier. He seems to think if I 'changed', then everyone would like me. Changing isn't that easy, and we're all quite aware of that.

We always think of Chloe with her thorns out, ready to burrow deep into flesh and infuriate anyone that comes in contact with them, but every once in a while she sees fit to remind me that she's delicate in places I never imagine for her.

She's melancholy, but nothing worse than that.

Yes, but where did the scheming go? It's as if she's forgotten how to win. I thought Murphys were all born knowing. But okay, if you're certain.

Onto a back burner for the moment. We all know how to win, it all depends on what we've decided we want to win.

On Downton, a woman committed suicide to make the man who rejected her miserable and separate him from the woman he loved. She framed him for murder, and he was almost hanged.

You were nothing like Chloe, Alexander. Chloe's suicide would be in order to make someone else suffer.
