Good evening and a happy New Years to everyone! I'm kiwi and I will be playing your friendly neighbourhood shapeshifter, Nymphadora Tonks.

Tonks is, at heart, a prankster with a strong sense of humour and fun, and found a kindred spirit in her cousin Sirius. The war, however, and the death of two of her once superiors in the Aurors office have shaken her. Ever the hufflepuff, she's devoted to her duties to the Order. Now she's obsessed with finding the people who killed her superiors and friends, to put a final end to the Death Eaters and watch them finally go into oblivion where she firmly believes they belong. Tonks can be a bit reckless, and relies on gut instinct and spur of the moment reactions to drive her actions.

Unlike DH, Tonks wasn't married to Remus, nor did she have Teddy. Rather, her feelings for him remained a one sided infatuation until he left to go with the werewolves. Shaken by how strongly her feelings for him affected her, Tonks has doubled, tripled, her attention to her duties as a kind of safekeeping to make sure she is never so vulnerable again. She puts up a strong front, but the events with the proffesor left their mark on her. But Tonks would rather avoid thinking about it at all than actually facing it, for fear of falling into despair and losing her abilities once more. It still affects her, and with the upcoming plot with the werewolf persecution, it will begin to show more and more. Ironic to think that in another time and another world, that very persecution would have affected her herself :)

I adore a good plot and will work with practically anything and anyone. About me? Hm! I'm a plot maniac and a strategy obsessee. Ironically, I didn't mean to get half as attached to playing Tonks as I did. I started out playing Bellatrix and became quite fond of her as she's more my type of character, until the game I played Tonks briefly in died and the next game I played her in exploded in plot. I ended up having so much fun with her, I just had to play her again! But after DH, you can imagine how that became a tad more difficult, throwing me into a bit of an involuntary hiatus. This will be my first game since November, so I'm really looking forward to it!
