Divisions OOC

Hello all! Because I suck, I'm just now getting around to introducing my newest character. This is Mits, BTW, before I forget that important piece of information! Also, I'm currently attempting to not be enmigrainated, and in doing so have upset my stomach because pills suck. SO. This means this may not be a great intro, but I'm gonna try my best~

Sorry for the delay on this. Had a few busy days.

I'm Ashe. They/Them pronouns please. I have four characters all of whom have some level of involvement in the Bronx.

First up is Ivy Gardner. She is a twenty-five year old single mother who moved to the Bronx from a small town in California when Dante made her an offer she couldn't refuse. She is the Manager of Zaragoza's Automotive and she also helps with the community garden. She has a three year old daughter named Hazel and lives with her sister. She raises bees and keeps her own garden. She also has plant based powers and healing abilities.

Next is Allegra Grudger (hexgirl), a witch and frontwoman of Hellebore, an all-female, all WoC punk rock/metal band that sounds like a cross between Garbage and Halestorm. She's married to Luke Grudger and has a daughter named Chiara. She's an activist who has very strong feelings on racial justice and lgbtq+ rights. She is a local celebrity for her band, but it's also entirely possible you wouldn't know who she is if that music isn't your speed.

Third is Loren Moon (shafted). She's a non-powered vigilante. She's also a billionaire and a three-time Olympic gold medalist, having competed in the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympic games in archery. She doesn't live in the Bronx, but she spends a lot of time there and she owns the Arches Gym, which secretly caters to mutants and such. She also has a super hot universe hopping girlfriend named Fen.

And Last is Marina Vasilescu (intheblood). Marina is a vampire who runs a clinic in the Bronx that helps the empowered and supernatural parts of the city and doubles as a blood bank for vampires who need assistance. She was formerly a witch before she got turned. She also has a werewolf husband and her niece/adopted daughter is a witch, so she's all over the supernatural spectrum.

Hello everyone!

First of all, we’d like to say welcome to the beginning of Divisions! We hope that you’ll all truly enjoy your time here with us on this journey. Second, it was decided to jump right into the deep end with an event! It’s going to officially last from February 2nd through February 9th, so you’ll all hopefully have plenty of time to begin and potentially complete threads. Technically, this is a social event even if it doesn’t quite seem like it, so have fun socializing!

Hello to all the lovely players of Divisions!

Your mods would like to welcome you formally to the game, and offer a 'soft open' for the players who have already been accepted. After intro'ing your characters feel free to start playing tonight if you'd like or take the evening to plot and start tomorrow as you see fit.

As per player vote, this post is being made so that all players can comment to it with the characters that they'll be playing. We won't regulate how you post as we know this format may be new to some players/there are smaller character limits for how much text can fit into a comment/etc. but the basic idea is to comment under this post with whatever introduction you may have made to the OOC if you had been writing up your own introductory post and tell us about the character's your bringing to game too! What does your character do for a living? How may other characters know them or know of them? What places do they frequent? What lines are you looking for? And whatever other juicy tidbits you may find useful to offer out!

But we digress, welcome to Divisions, we're excited for you to see what's inside!

The rules are as follows:

OOC Rules:
(1.) These are for fun, and therefore completely voluntary.
(2.) These will not affect actual IC in game interactions unless the players collaborate and decide they want to incorporate some of the things from this meme into the real game when it begins.
(3.) Please post all replies to this meme on this post with the character's name in the subject heading.
(4.) Feel free to assume any part of the character's histories are fair game (or not depending on how you want to write it!) for this pre-game amusement~. Also up to each player if they want knowledge of the previous meme to carry over into this meme or not!
(5.) Have fun!


IC Stuff~:
(1.) Other characters will ask "Would you rather..." type questions to your character. As an example: "Would you rather spend a night in the chocobo stables or a night in a fisherman's boat?"
(2.) Your character will then respond to which option they'd rather take! And for bonus points~ Why they would choose that option!

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the delay in getting this event set up. This is the conclusion for the Poltergeist Punchers event. Unlike in previous events, if your character has participated previously, they are free to participate in this event as well. There will be plenty of ghosts for everyone to go after, so there’s no need for any restrictions this time. As before, no one is expected to participate considering the current state of the world.
