Welcome to Part Two of the Poltergeist Punchers event! There isn’t a whole lot of new information to share with everyone, but there are a couple things to keep in mind. As mentioned in the prior OOC post, if your character signed up for the previous event, please do not have them sign up for this one. It’s only fair to make sure that as many characters can partake in this month’s plot events as possible, so if everyone could make sure to only sign up one character per player, that would be great. In other words, if you have three characters and Character A participated in the first part, please sign up Character B or C. Of course, no one is expected to partake in this plot, so if you have a character that wouldn’t want to be a part of this, or you aren’t in the right headspace to partake, that’s fine.
This time, there are ten (10) ghosts to be captured with Ivo running amok throughout the building. As before, attempts to capture Ivo will fail, but have fun trying! The same restrictions on which abilities will work on ghosts still apply to these ghosts. Some fun things to keep in mind that can be used during your threads (but don’t have to be). With this being inside a building, ghosts can travel through walls and floors and doors, can be invisible, and some even glow. So if you wanted to have your character zapping a ghost that goes invisible, throws a vase at your head, and then slips through a wall, go for it! On the other hand, if you want it to be as simple as “Character points their gun at the ghost, shoots it, and partner traps it,” you can do that too! Whatever lets you have the most fun possible.
Ultimately, all 10 ghosts will be captured, and the next event will begin on the 31st of October, so please don’t worry if you sign your character up for this event and don’t have a thread with someone else completed by then.
