sometimes i find it weird that my fl/irl friends getting worked up about college and getting in. anyone else in this same boat? or like, it's weird to see a younger sibling actually growing up? eh. they are all still babies to me sometimes ?
on another note it's supposed to snow here tomorrow and if it does they will cancel classes, do you think i should study lol =(

surely i'm not the only one in this shitty weather. my university refused to cancel classes today even though everything else in this town is literally closed -- even the girls scouts office! -- due to ice. just thought i'd share the lovely text message i recieved from said university:
A student has been injured by a falling tree limb on campus. Please avoid walking under trees where possible.

have you ever seen a movie without seeing a trailer first?
i'm asking because i saw revolutionary road yesterday (and it was great) and there's a woman nearby at work talking to someone else about it and how much she hated it because it was depressing and she thought it'd be a love story.
i'm like, if she saw the trailer, there's no possible way she could have expected anything different from what it was.

Pet Peeves during class?
In my Social Statistics class I ended up stuck behind this one really goddamn tall girl. that would suck enough (especially since I'm in the freaking center of the room so her giant head blocks everything) she has long hair down to the bottom of her back. The room is tiny and you're right on top of each other in the rows, so her long hair was all over my desk today. Like seriously, if you have monstrously long hair, tie it back in class!

So I just did a few test patches in my hair with bleach, and it was lightening okay, but then the bleach got really dry and it stopped working. It didn't come with a cap or anything, so does anyone know of ways to keep it from drying out?

I'm probably going to be the person to propose if I ever find someone I want to marry just because I'm a headstrong person who will probably get sick of waiting and I don't see anything wrong with it. I know a lot of people think that's weird.

How many points do you get for speeding on a highway? 30mph over speed limit (a 80 in a 50 zone)
Is there anyway to reduce that to a fine instead of points on your license? How would I go about doing that? How much would that cost exactly?

so we were talking in my class tonight, and my professor basically asked that if science found a way to keep you alive FOREVER, or basically let you live a couple hundred more years... but he said FOREVER as long as forever goes on i guess.... would you do it? and like maybe 3 people out of 30 raised their hands that they would do it. and this chick says "YEAH i wonder how many of them are christian?!?!" to the ones who didn't want that.... so like basically i am a christian, but that's not why i don't want to live forever.
so what do you think, div? would you want to live forever? why/why not?
i don't want to live forever. i can't really put it into words why, because my life isn't exactly some miserable existence, but i just think life would get tiresome. there are some things i just don't want to live to see... if those things happen... i.e. the apocalypse, some gattaca type situation, etc.

mine is my creative writing teacher. she's young, probably 26 or 27. she acts like her POV is the only one that can be right in class, and she acts like she personally takes offense when people criticize the stories we read in class. she actually tore into someone because she was REALLY offended at his comment on this writer's style.

i love all my teachers this semester :) i really like that they are from all different countries, i don't have one native english speaking teacher, they are all really cute and perfect and really interesting. i love their ways of looking at things and their teaching methods, i have a good feeling about this semester!!
what classes are you taking? how are they going and what do you think about your professors? i guess this is just a school post~

What was the last big decision you had to make? How'd it turn out for you?
