Where the Magic Is Might statue once stood is now a pile of the Ministry's prohibited technology with Craig Wood tied to a stake in the very middle.

Minister Thicknesse — looking a little peaked, but in good spirits — makes a short speech with an apology for his behavior on the wireless the other day (Being Minister is a very stressful job, but he's feeling much better now.), a brief rundown one why this bonfire is happening today which was mostly what he said in the wireless broadcast before he had his little moment, and absolutely no comment on the poor man in the middle of the pile. He'll not be taking any questions at this time. Magical Maintenance is on hand to make sure no one dies of smoke inhalation, he adds with a laugh!

But when one of the Magical Maintenance workers steps forward and shakily lights the bonfire, though, it's clear Craig Wood isn't included in that.

The DMLE is expected to be on hand to assist if necessary and anyone who attempts to interrupt the proceedings will be arrested.
