It was the first day of the beach trip, and Kozue had already staked out her spot on the sand—here was the lounge chair she had dragged out, here her towel spread across the chair, there her things in a large bag, and, most importantly, Kozue herself, prepared to tan and look fabulous and relax, relax, relax.

(Of course her swimsuit was geared more towards show off, show off, show off, but you don't want chunky tan lines, now do you?)

	Kanaye nodded and grinned himself. "Yeah. It's much better now, with you and Kozue-chan and Seiko-chan and Toru-kun. Really, I can't imagine it'd be fun without you." He hugged Maeko. "Yeah. Thanks, Maeko. I love you." He kissed her on the cheek. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Maeko briefly returned the hug but having sand stuck to her made the whole thing scratchy and uncomfortable. She let go after a few seconds. "Love you too." She said, smiling. "I'm glad things are better now." (Reply to this) (Parent)
