Who: Kozue and people and the beach
What: Beach.

When: Be-- I mean, daytime.
Why: You don't need to ask. I'll just say beach

It was the first day of the beach trip, and Kozue had already staked out her spot on the sand—here was the lounge chair she had dragged out, here her towel spread across the chair, there her things in a large bag, and, most importantly, Kozue herself, prepared to tan and look fabulous and relax, relax, relax.

(Of course her swimsuit was geared more towards show off, show off, show off, but you don't want chunky tan lines, now do you?)

Tom walked down toward the beach in the swimsuit and shirt Kozue had forced him to buy. She had also forced him to promise to go swimming. He grumbled a bit, he would rather sit on the deck of the house with Max, reading a book, but he'd promised. So he was going to walk down to the beach, swim, and go back inside then Kozue couldn't bother him the rrest of the time he was there. He marched right up to the group gathered to go swimming.

"Alright I..." He saw Seiko in a swimsuit that highlighted her curves, and Kozue in her barely there bikini, even Misaki in a far more revealing outfit then he'd seen before. Sure he'd seen them at the waterpark, but at the time, Tom was focused on the danger, and the whole school was there, here it was just... them. Plus he could have sworn they weren't showing off this much skin then.

His felt his heart rate jump in speed, and a strange prickly heat on his face. His mouth hung open and words failed him.

"I... uh... gotta ... swimming..."

Kanaye looked at Seiko and smiled, waving. "Yo, Seiko-chan! You're looking hot! Wanna come swimming?" He asked, standing up in the water. "Everyone should swim! Yes, including you, Kou-san! The water's great! Come on in if you guys get too hot!" He laughed.

Then, he looked at Tom and laughed. "Dude, seriously? I know they're hot, but, honestly Tom-san. You're acting like a 14 year old." He shook his head. "Dude, just come on in and cool down. We can stare at the girls later."

"Tom! Hi!"

Seiko waved at Tom with a wide grin, slightly perplexed by his reaction, then looked over at who she was standing near to. Kozue and Misaki were in bikinis so of course they'd get a reaction, she nodded to herself, mystery solved. Completely forgetting temporarily she too was in a revealing bikini and thus may be a contributing factor too.

With a sigh and a roll of her eyes she waved back to Kanaye, pretending not to have heard his comment, "Hey Kanaye-kun, I'll swim later..."

Masami stepped out onto the beach holding a beach umbrella in one hand and a beach towel in the other. She was wearing a red sports bikini that Seiko would recognize as the one she'd bought when the two had gone shopping. It was a bit more bold than what she was used to, but upon seeing Seiko's and Kozue's swimsuits, Masami felt marginally less bad about her own.

She made her way over to the others. "Yukizaki-senpai, Satou-senpai, and... Sagaki-senpai," she began with an almost unnoticeable pause before mentioning Tom, "How are you all doing?"

As she spoke, she spread her towel out over the sand and began digging a hole in the sand for her beach umbrella.

Tom turned toward Kanaye, crossing his arms.

"I wasn't staring at them! I was... merely surprised by their change of clothes." He frowned slightly. And was almost thankful that Kanaye's out burst was enough of a distraction. It allowed him to turn, and try to avoid staring at the girls.

"And I suppose you mean to suggest that the difference between a 14 year old, and a 17 year old is that the 17 year old plans out his staring?" When Masami stepped onto the beach, Tom was forced to look back to the group. This time he mentally prepared himself, and was able to hide his shock behind the sunglasses.

"Uh... Hello Sakuraba-san."

"Masami-chan!" Seiko twisted round a little too quickly to wave at the younger girl and wobbled on one foot for a moment. "Oh that swimsuit looks really good!" she exclaimed with a wide smile and a wave.

She laid out her own towel, having completely forgotten it in her excitement of seeing her friends at the beach, and of being somewhere that felt so cheerful. With the sunshine and the water she was even less inclined to feel unhappy about anything.
