Who: Kanaye and whoever
What: Hopefully not MAEKO MAEKO MAEKO
Where: School
When: After School
Why: Kicks.

Kanaye was puzzled. He didn't have soccer practice, the day for the drama club was still a decent way off, Maeko was busy, he couldn't get on the student council, and he couldn't think of a reason to argue with his parents. Needless to say, he was quite bored. This seemed to be a theme. With nothing to do, he used his time stupidly by wandering around the school, hoping that someone would talk to him.

Kozue giggled at the impression, even though it wasn't spot on. "You forgot that Shirou-san needs to tell us that he's pumped. For Kendou or… I don't know, shouting. But yeah… he doesn't even have a sidekick when he comes to our club, and it's still exhausting." Then again, that might be because of the racket-on-racket duels and the lessons on how to entangle opponents in the court nets. Those definitely were tiring.

She backed up a little when Kanaye went to speak with Misaki, and then turned back to Masami: "What kind of stuff do they do in the tea club? I was talking to my grandmother just a day or two ago, and…" And her grandmother had shouted a variety of rage-filled invectives culminating in why didn't you tell me there was a tea club at your school and why aren't you in it?! Of course, that wasn't what she told Masami: "And she was excited to find out that it existed."

"Ha, yeah that's Shirou-kun. I can't tell him a single thing without him shouting 'ALL RIGHT! I'M PUMPED NOW!'..." Masami said with a little laugh.

Masami noticed the kimono Misaki had apparently made for Kanaye, and made a mental note to talk to Misaki about kimono later. "The tea club... well, we don't really have many members. The president's usually there, but she's kinda weird. I heard from one of the senior members that two years ago she took the tea club on a camping trip during summer break, and her whole reasoning was 'because it's the tea club', even though there wasn't any tea the whole trip... She hasn't done anything like that since I joined though. Mostly we just... sit around the club room and drink different kinds of tea. There's also some tea ceremony practice but by now most of the regulars know it all so we don't do it much..."

She raised an eyebrow slightly, at the president's shenanigans and then, again, at the last statement. They know it all? Maybe they should talk to her grandmother—Fumiko held that nobody could master the tea ceremony, even given an entire lifetime, and was always babbling about what Kozue hadn't learned yet.

"Does the school have its own tea room? Or do you all go out somewhere else?" She asked, curious. The idea of sitting around drinking teas was a bit boring to her, but attending a chaji or even a quicker, lighter ceremony actually appealed to her. She'd have time to organize her thoughts… and if that wasn't something she needed after this Paradise business, well, then there was something wrong with her.

"Yeah, the club has its own room in the school. It's in the same wing as the other culture club rooms," Masami replied, "I go there during lunch break often to refill my thermos. If you ever feel like it, come check out the club. We always welcome new members, though Yamaguchi-senpai - that's the president - scares off maybe half the people who come in actually looking to join the club..."

Kozue nodded, but her gaze had steadily been travelling sideways, towards where Kanaye and Misaki were talking, a few feet down the hallway. She'd heard her name, and natural curiosity had made her pause, and try to overhear, and… well, great.

After a moment, looking just a bit put-out, she looked back to Masami. "I'm sorry, I just drifted off there. Maybe the heat is messing with my brain," she lied. "Maybe I will come check it out. Let me know if you're planning ceremony practice at some point?" She wasn't too keen on the actual drinking of tea (it was just a beverage, honestly) but she could probably use some practice on the ritual itself.
