Operation Puppy Wash
Who: Tom, Kozue, Emi
What: Max needs to be cleaned
Where: Boys dorm
When: Early Afternoon
Why: Because I must defeat Bel in her flooding of the RPG page!

Tom had only managed to give Max a bath twice in the two months he had the puppy. Not counting the initial cleaning he had paid for and done by professionals. The other two had both been done at his fathers house. But things were different now. Now he had accomplices.

Tom had sent the word out. He'd let both Kondo and Hayashi to meet outside his dorm window. He would sneak them in, and together they would secure a bathroom, and clean Max before anyone even realized what was going on. He waited quietly for the two small women to arrive. Max seemed to know company was coming, or at least thought it was odd that Tom was waiting by the window, and so sat on the bed and eagerly looked out at the lawn.

Both Dog and Master sat, waiting...

"Alright," Emi nodded to Kozue. She watched as Tom climbed back into his dorm and then looked back down at the puppy by their feet. His tail had stopped wagging and he seemed like he was expecting to go back as well. Emi gave him a sympathetic expression and gently scooped him into her arms. "Good boy, Max. It'll be alright."

Whether she liked her very much or not, the older girl was there to help and by that point she really didn't have room to complain. So, she motioned for Kozue to follow as she hurried over to the door.

Kozue trotted along after Emi, keeping a sharp eye out around them. For what, she wasn't exactly sure, since they were the only ones skulking around behind the dorm, but it was good to get in practice early, right? And vigilance was … oh, it was something, she couldn't remember the saying, but she'd bet that Tom could tell her all kinds of things about vigilance. Just zillions of vigilance-related details.

She stopped at the door: "Let me peek in and make sure the coast is clear," she told Emi, feeling proud that she was making a good show of the serious mood of the whole affair. Coast is clear was a great spy movie phrase, too. She opened the door, and slid quickly inside, looking up and down the hallway. Oops, there was... somebody, but his back was turned, and it seemed like he was headed for the kitchen or the laundry room. She stood still until he vanished around a corner.

After a moment, her small hand snaked back out the cracked door and she motioned for Emi to hurry inside. The coast had become clear.

… should they have a code phrase for that or something?

Max squirmed a little in Emi's grasp. But he didn't bark, after all, his friends where here.

Once both girls had gotten back into the boys dorm, a door nearby Kozue clicked open and Tom leaned out. We waved both girls over. His tone was no nonsense, almost the same exact tone he used when they were in Paradise.

"Stairwell's are clear. Let's go."

For such a short mission, code phrases might've been a bit much, but with her current determinism she probably would've went along with it. For now she just responded with an understanding nod to both her and Tom.

She hugged Max a bit closer to keep him from squirming too much, but was carefully not to hold him too tightly. She gave him a gentle rub on the head to reassure him that everything was fine. Once reassured by the two teens, she followed into the door and hurried up the stairs.

Kozue followed along, still trying to keep serious—but failing more often than not, if for no other reason than a lack of any real attention span for things like this. In Paradise, it was one thing: monsters or Shadows or explosions seemed to always be popping up, but here, Kozue felt safe. A lack of nervousness really meant that she wasn't going to be all that watchful.

It was probably saying something that Kozue felt at home in the boy's dormitory. But. Wait. No, it wasn't. We knew that all already.

Still, she made a show of looking around every now and then, just to make sure the hall was clear. So far, so good.
