Millenium City is a good time to explore/contrast not only established relationships and take strides towards resolving ones with unfinished business, but also a good time for what ifs, relationships that might have been, or ones that you can see unfolding in the late stages of the game.

In the comments, tap people you'd like to thread with, with an idea for foundation if possible.

Also, a proposal: Reconsidering the ranking system so that it isn't so heavily weighted towards high and low ranks indicating like or dislike, respectively. Looking at my own links I'm finding there should be some in-between space for rivalry or other connections, because that can be just as significant.

Kiriko: They had an interesting relationship going, but it was also an unhealthy one. After the pre-mindwipe scene and both of them reaching self-rank 10, I think they need some closure. Also their "rivalry" about Reizo is lols.
Kozue: These two got along, but their relationship was shallow. Might be nice to go beyond that and explore their similarities and differences.
Maeko: I don't think she and Toru ever established a social link... want to change that?
Keiichi: Different takes on the hero complex, these two. Could be interesting. Also Toru never really followed up with him after the boss fight.
Kai: Another one of Toru's high-ish links. These two had similarities and liked each other, so it'd be nice to go further with that.
Masami: We may need to backdate a resolution to their last thread and move forward. Toru's willing to listen to Masami's problems.
Tom: He and Toru have had an interesting relationship, but their link has always been near 0 because of the ups and downs. Dealing with things like heroism, trust, and friendship here.
Toshimi: They've only really got Matsuri in common, and now they've only got that in the Millenium!verse. This could be our chance to get them to be friends.
Masafumi: idek
Renju: Sounds like she's got a bone to pick with Toru, even if they did side together before the mindwipe. Very different takes on life, too.
Kouchisei: He keeps trying to "fix" Toru and criticizes him at any chance he gets. Could we resolve this, I wonder?
Seiko: Still got the diametrically opposed beliefs, and a big grudge between them. With both of them predungeon emotionally, we could fix this or make it worse. Want to give it a shot?
Reizo: The punch needs followup. As does their whole weird relationship.
Yoshimi: They're pretty much best friends, but there's stuff to explore here. Like how she knows a lot more about his private life than vice-versa, being awkward nerds, etc.
Isao: They don't have a lot between them, but they are Team Slacker in the Millenium City! Could be fun to have them being antisocial bums together.
Misaki: Toru and Misaki's friendship kind of burned out a while ago, and it sucks that it did. Could they possibly reconnect?

	shortlist candidates for LACKEYS: Toru, Isao, Yoshi, Toshi, Kai. Everyone else seems like they'd be less likely to just accept being pushed around, but I could be wrong. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Agreed. I think resolution can be found, and any common ground they share seems a good way to shoehorn that in. They both become professionals, but in different fields. There's a certain level of drive, ambition and skill they both possess. I'm just coming up blank on actual events in-game to drive things forward atm. (Reply to this) (Parent)
