Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:kanaye, shiori, tom

It's a mistake to do this so publicly....
Who: Thomas and Shiori, Kanaye, any others
What: Thomas patches himself up after a small scuffle
Where: A stairway on the school grounds
When: A random day
Why: Cause he doesn't want to track blood all the way back to his room. And interaction is fun.

Tom cursed inwardly to himself as he wrapped his knuckles. It was stupid to jump into a fight, even a minor one when his earlier wounds were no where near healed, but when three second years gang up on a first year just to give themselves an inflated sense of self it's hardly something Thomas could agree to walk away from.

Unfortunately, now he was stuck patching up his wounds as best he could to keep from bleeding all the way back to his room. Once back there he could take care of himself in a bit more of a permenant manner.
He sat on the ground, his black bag lay open on the ground next to him. Despite the freshly opened injuries, he still had his school uniform on, his blazer still buttoned closed, despite droplets of blood falling on the clothes.

Shiori shook her head, lips quirked into a smile.

"No way! I'm just wondering if we'll see each other at all. I hope the teachers don't keep the grades separate too much..." Shiori said. "Though... do you know if it's an actual trip, senpai? Or will we be working too?"

She hadn't heard much about the trip; really, the only thing she knew that there was going to be one. She didn't really pay attention to people's chatter and gossip, since she was usually drawing. She really should stop drawing so much in school, Shiori realized. She was missing out on so much information and interaction...

Kanaye smiled at her smile. Which was kinda redundant. Ah well. "Oh I hope not. I'd have to deal with Sagaki and Tanaka all by myself, and all of the girls there are too chilly to talk to..." Kanaye sighed in despair. (ZETSUBOUSHITA) "It'll be all better if I could talk to you or Toshimi-chan." Kanaye frowned a bit at her question. "Oh, I think we'll be working somewhat. There is no way the school will actually bother to give us something this expensive unless it'll make us learn something. It won't, but they can try, at least." Kanaye smiled and chuckled.

Shiori tilted her head. Was he not really close to his classmates too? He didn't sound like he was. But there had to be some nice third years, like... like...

Shiori failed.

"I hope we don't work too much!" Shiori said. "If we're going to a hot springs, then I'm definitely going to stay in it as much as I can!"

She hadn't been in a hot spring in such a long time; to say that she was intending on spending most of her time in there would be like saying she liked to draw. She loved being in the water - if she wasn't so into her art, she probably would have joined the swim team a long time ago. Well, that, and if she could really actually swim. She just liked to float.

"Oh, yes. A hot spring would be nice! Hot springs are amazing!" Kanaye smiled. The thought of Shiori in a hot spring did not do much to deter his smile. He wouldn't actually peep on her (pissing off women is not smart when you're trying to make them like you) but he could fantasize. "I take it you like hot springs, Shichan?"

Ecstatic that Satou felt the same way about hot springs, Shiori moved away and knelt on the couch so she was facing him. Foot tucked under the other, Shiori nodded quickly.

"I love hot springs! Swimming, too, but I don't go very often. It's hard to draw when you're wet," she laughed. "Do you know if the place we're going to will have a beach? Oh, oh, if it does then we have to swim together! It'd be a lto of fun to swim with senpai!"

Smiling happily at the thought, she remembered that it hadn't been too long ago that she had almost gone swimming at the beach. Though it had been with Shirai instead, whose company was definitely not as pleasant as Satou's.

"Oh! Yes, I'd take it that it would definitely be hard to draw under water...unless you have one of those cool pens that draw underwater, as well as waterproof paper! Then it would be a breeze~." Kanaye said, almost ecstatic at the way the conversation was going. "Oh, I don't think the place we're going to has a beach, shame, but we could definitely swim together at a public pool, or maybe my pool. It would be a lot of fun indeed!" Kanaye wasn't going to say that most of the fun he would be having was seeing Shiori in a swimsuit, but details...

Shiori's eyes widened as she leaned forward, her expression one of total and complete amazement. Not at Satou's mention of the waterproof paper (though that would be really awesome to have) but of something far more greater than that. Several things ran through her mind: Satou had a pool. Not a public pool, a private one. Satou lived very closer to her - much closer than the public pool. And Satou was her favorite senpai.

"Y-you have a pool?" she stuttered out. "T-then we've gotta go swimming! Ton-" She caught sight of the time again and quickly changed what she was about to say. "-Tomorrow! Um, that is, if you aren't doing anything. And if that's even okay. I don't want to trouble you..."

Oh, if he let her swim here she would totally owe him. If he wanted those pictures of his house, he could keep them. This was too awesome!

Kanaye just smirked. She was pretty much eating out of the palm of his hand now. He never knew she liked pools that much, but he did know, and by god, he was going to let her use his pool all she wants. Kanaye was ecstatic. "Oh? You want to use my pool? Why, by all means! I don't see why you couldn't. Maybe bring along some of your friend, as well? It'd be great exercise. An amazing experience for all of us."

"Are you sure, senpai? It'd be really fun to have a lot of people! But... you gotta invite your friends too!" she told him, frowning worriedly. She didn't want to invade his house with her friends (well, classmates. She didn't really feel close enough to any of them to call them friends. Which sounded really, really terrible.)

Jumping slightly as her cell phone vibrated in her pocket, Shiori blinked and took it out. Who would be sending her a text message..? Opening her phone, she read the message and sighed.

"My brother says I have to go home now," Shiori said, sliding off the couch to stand and grab her bag. "Thank you so much for helping me with English though! And tell the chef that the food was delicious! And for saying I could use your pool. And... well, for today, really!"

"Oh, don't worry about it Shichan! Of course I'll invite my friends!" His non-existant friends, that is. Oh well. The less the merrier! "We'll have lots of food, and fun, and..." Kanaye was cut off as Shiori's cell phone vibrated. Frowning slightly at her response, he sighed as well. "Lame~. It was no problem, me and my servants could use more company. Shall I show you to your home?" Kanaye asked, grabbing Shiori's hand and starting to walk towards the gate. "Or do you think you have it?"

Satou certainly didn't slow down for anything, Shiori thought as she was hastily lead out of the mansion. Still, if she was already inviting herself back after one day, neither did she. She seemed to speed through everything, really, except for her art. Even in the other world she would want to keep moving on. She was unsure if it was a bad thing or not; if all they did was hang around and bicker, they'd never get anything done, but if she just rushed ahead she could get hurt.

Ah, well.

"I'll be fine!" Shiori said, bowing low once again. "I'll see you tomorrow then, senpai!"

"Well, if you insist..." Kanaye said worriedly. Nevertheless, he bowed a bit before showing her to the gate, then waving goodbye as she left. After heading inside, he went straight to his room. No doubt his father will want to talk to him, and that isn't something that's high on his list of priorities. He'll just stay there and pretend to do his homework. And he is doing his homework. Just not school homework.
