as if it wasn't obvious by now...
Who: (Shadow, probably) Kozue, Seiko, Misaki, Toru, OPEN~.
What: Run-ins, adventures, misadventures, etc.
Where: School Corridors.
When: Lunchtime. Just after the KouMail.
Why: Disastrous results.

There was a crash, and a clatter, from inside the School Counselor's office.

Someone yelped.

And then Kozue, still dressed in a pretty black dress you could wear to a funeral and heels that clacked on the floor with stacatto precision, stepped out, shaking her head. "Seriously." She turned back, addressing someone inside. "Career counselor? Are you kidding? If I wanted touchy-feely advice I'd call Madam Patra."

She shrugged, as if to say, well, you get what you pay for or perhaps, who should have expected better, and then walked off. Maybe there were a few not-useless people loitering around during lunch that she could prevail upon to help her out.

If not, well, the rest of Iburi was her oyster and she had only to smash it open.

	She nodded, twice, quickly, to the first question; then, "No, I don't. I couldn't decide, anyway—Seiko-chan, will you help me figure it out? I need your help. I really do." She stayed at the door, leaning against it and thus pushing it most of the way shut. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Seiko ran a hand through her hair, she was needed but she wasn't quite sure where to start, after all she wasn't quite sure what it was Kozue was looking for, a career idea? A way of life?

"Well what talents do you have, do you get higher grades in any subjects rather than any else? And you know, you might get married one day anyway,its probably very likely, considering that you are..." she struggled to think of a way to phrase exactly what Kozue was that drew men to her, "popular, you know, with guys."

She tapped her nose thoughtfully as she tried to imagine what she could see Kozue doing in the future.

"Oooh," she fairly chorused like the audience in a cheesy in-studio sitcom. "You haven't seen my grades, have you? I'm a straight C student by virtue of being so filthy rich nobody wants to fail me out and lose my tuition money. Or didn't you know that? Besides, popular girls..." She grinned. "Well, did you ever hear that American saying about not buying a cow if you can get the milk for free? I sure have. A lot."

She paused. She smiled more. "But I bet you have heard that, so who knows. And... look. These are loads of options, Seiko-chan, but what should I do? Just... tell me."

It was a real testament to the blindness caused by Seiko's compassionate nature that she didn't find Kozue's behaviour as suspicious as she probably should. She knew grief made people do and say things they usually wouldn't say.

"Well not something too academic then." She said calmly still trying to avoid saying anything that might cause offense. "Oh uh that saying..." She shook her head. "Just ignore it, I guess you are kind of young to be thinking about marriage, but I don't think it will really be too big a problem for you when the time comes."

Seiko was however a little unnerved about Kozue pressing so much for a solid plan for her life so suddenly, as if she really was completely unable to decide for herself.

"Um well..." She didn't want to suggest a career based on Kozue's looks, it seemed unfair as if she seemed like she was just reducing her down to aomeone only worth their looks. But without having much idea what Kozue's talents were she was failing to come up with much that was helpful.

Kozue leaned down, scooping up something small from the floor and looking at it briefly; it was triangle-shaped. She shrugged. "It's fine, Seiko-chan. You don't really seem the type to make me do anything, anyway. I just need to find someone who is, is all."

"Thanks, anyway." She took a step back, pulling open the door with a swift motion; her smile was, perhaps, too knowing. A bit sharp. She slid out the door, closed it again, and in a swift motion jammed the object in her hand--a door stop meant to keep the door open--underneath the outer edge. Sticking the door quite efficiently closed.

And then she popped back into view in the classroom window and waved.

Seiko was going to reply, asking what exactly was going on with Kozue until she foundh herself alone in the room and Kozue waving at her. Finally feeling very suspicious indeed, she leapt of the desk she was sat on and tried to open the door, and failed.

Kozue come back into view through the window and waving at her gave her a sinking feeling, grief or no grief she was pretty sure Kozue would never trap her like this, so that had to mean...

"Let me out!" she called to the girl on the other side, "I haven't done anything to you!" she added a little pointlessly, but feeling the need to point out her lack of hostile intentions.

	Yet. Kozue gave a smile, but she shrugged, and wiggled her fingers in a wave, before turning and heading down the hall. (Reply to this) (Parent)
