It was the second time today that Kozue had rounded a corner and stopped in her tracks. The inspiration for this one was … yeah, just a bit worse. That was a lot of Shadows. Pulling out her phone to get ready for a Media, Kozue dashed forward. "No, we need to get out of here with you guys!" She didn't spare a glance over her shoulder, but she was furiously hoping that she hadn't just done something both stupid and alone. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Renju's phone was out for a Dia almost before she thought about it, but she was significantly less certain about it than Kozue. She'd been expecting Shadows--but not that many, and not several other former team members overwhelmed even before they'd gotten there. (And when had Tom even arrived, anyway?) This was obviously not a fight they could win. She wasn't even sure it was a fight they could escape from if they tried to save the others. 	Masami surveyed the situation and immediately pulled out her cell phone. "We probably can't fight this many of them... but I'll try to hold them off while you get the others to safety. After that, we'll fall back!" Masami said as she hit redial, calling Yoshitsune for a Gale Slash on the shadows. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The Gale Slash sliced off one of the large hand's fingers, sending it crashing to the ground. It didn't fade away, though, instead flowing back into the large arm. The hand itself swung down, smashing on the ground and losing its shape but continuing toward the party like a wave of oil. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

(please pretend this comment is above Kozue's I needed to edit it and couldn't get it back in the right order.) Tom wiped the blood from his eyes, and pushed himself up on shaking limbs. Tom had thought it'd be wise to retreat, but the shadows had attacked almost immediately. Tom had thought to attack separate from the others, draw fire, and keep moving to avoid hits. Ishinomori had done what he could to protect his teammates, Oubai got in some hits, and Tachibana had shouted something about energy drinks as she attacked, but in the end the group was overwhelmed. Now Tom had managed to position himself between the mass of Shadows, and the rest of Team PeelPeelPeel. The other Persona users were just as badly hurt as he was, but he refused, refused to fall, and leave the others unprotected. He could barely move, but he steeled himself against the next attack. When Team Cake stepped into the clearing, he looked at them and let out a soft grunt of pain. "You all... need to get out of here." (Reply to this) (Parent)
