Ikeda's Wedding Dungeon Crawl
Who: Shadow Kiriko and Exploration Team.
What: Dungeon crawling.
Where: Ikeda's Wedding Dungeon Crawl.
When: June 14/15
Why: Dungeon crawling chat supplementals!

The entrance to the dungeon takes the form of a small, Western-style chapel, with sleek, towering glass buildings visible in the distance. The closest seems to be a hotel, but an inaccessible skyline lined with modern office buildings and interesting architecture belonging to no particular cityscape is visible as well.

ETA: Dungeon Summary for those who have missed all or parts of it and don't want to pick through the chat.

Also note that Yuuto and Masami are chained together, and Emi isn't chained to anyone at all.

"But in the two previous cases, Paradise became what the victim was trying to escape to. This time it has become what Ikeda is trying to escape from."

Tom reached up and ran his fingers through his hair. He spoke in his usual deadpan. Seemingly unconcerned about the information he was processing.

"And it makes sense, the killer would target the groups leader to cause confusion and chaos in the way it operates. Which means the killer has access to the papers we filed. That lends some support to the theory that the killer is a member of the schools faculty. But it doesn't rule out a student."

“Play detectives later, idiots,”” Reizo drawled out from behind the group, giving the back of Toru and Tom’s heads equally dirty looks before he looked over the rest of the entrance. He gave a low, long whistle as he struck his match and lit a fresh cigarette. “Pretty swanky,” he concluded and then made his way up to the podium where the guestbook lay open and already vandalized, which he peered at critically. “Immature and amateurish!”

Then he took up the pen and started to draw a big, veiny penis next to both portrait’s mouths. He gave the drawings a contemplative once over, then bent back down to continue scribbling. When he was done not only were the groom and bride mouthing two crude penises, but Kiriko had acquired an eye patch, Toshiro was leaking a prodigious amount of snot, and what appeared to be winged asses were soaring around their heads.

He finished off his masterpiece by drawing a smaller version of himself flexing and standing atop a pile of what could only be the rest of the group in the corner, signed his name with a flourish, and wandered off to one of the doors to gave it a tug to see if it was open.

"So... This is what these places are like?"

Renju had mostly been content to stand back and watch while the group confronted Kiriko, though she'd stayed back and eyed Reizo with equal parts disbelief and wariness when he'd apparently expected her to leap at the chance to be a human projectile. She hadn't really quite known how to react to all of it, though if this was standard for these things... well, this was going to be more difficult than she'd thought.

That aside, she'd never been in a church before, and Paradise or not, the scenery was beautiful. She wasn't quite sure what to make of all this--Aomori's place had been so different from this, and still somewhat familiar, at least.

Kozue, hanging back a little (in case someone found a window or other small aperture and got any crazy ideas), glanced around the entrance to the chapel, wide-eyed, interested in a spectator sort of way. "Huh. A Western-style wedding. I wouldn't have expected that from Kiriko-san."

Still, she'd never seen a Western wedding up close, because movies didn't count. Nobody her family knew had those: it was tacky. Now, the animal print obsession made a bit more sense...

She took a few steps closer to the guest register after the yakuza had left it, just to be safe. She peered at it, frowning at Reizo's many and obscene additions to the photographs, but then something else caught her attention. "Oh, hey, that guy looks familiar," she mused. "I mean, without the eye patch. Or the facial hair."

Kanaye just wandered around. It's a nice place, if you ignore the random destruction. Which makes it not so nice. So it wasn't nice at all. A rather bad metaphor, all around.

"Well, this is rather interesting." he commented unnecessarily. "Do you think that if we took their parents to this place, they'd change their minds? Or could we just feed them to the shadows? I like either of those ideas, really."

"This is serious. They'd end up in their own worlds," Kouchisei replied.

He didn't think much of Kanaye. The older male was loud, brash - things Kouchisei hated. He came into a room and didn't take notice of the quiet.

"Why are we standing here? Do something."

Tom put his hands in his pockets and looked around.

"Now, I grew up in the states, so they didn't do much in the way of arranged marriages. But... isn't this a rather significant part of the culture in Japan? A significant tradition amongst the wealthy of which most of the parents related to this school are.

So... why are you all so upset over this? Also..."

He looked at Kozue curious.

"...you know fiancee?"

She glanced up at Tom and nodded: "Yeah, I think so. Besides, my mother mentioned he'd been at Nanakamado, and now that I see his picture..." She nodded. "Definitely. I didn't know him, but he was a few years ahead of us."

And the other question? She is not touching that with a ten foot pole. Not again.

"Hmph. Private business."

Kouchisei knew he could discuss Kiriko's personal business. That the guy seemed a little too old, given what he knew of Kiriko's socialising habits, but he didn't have that right. He didn't know her. He could be wrong.

He closed the guest register and signed. Those pictures weren't endearing.

"It's not like we're psychiatrists. Let's bring her home."

Toru, who had been standing off to one side, nodded to Kouchisei.

"R-right. The most important part is that we get Ikeda-san back... regardless of the politics of the situation. When she's safe... that's when we'll worry about this whole marriage thing."

To be honest, he wasn't sure what to think. With his lifestyle and family, Toru lived in a world that was distinctly lacking in such things as arranged marriages. Certainly, they existed in anime and certain types of games, but things like that were always resolved in the end. Either through contrived deux ex machinae or by the involved parties finding True Love, but they were always resolved somehow. In this case, Toru had no clue as to what would happen.
