What: Alex explores his new city, (hopefully) mingles with locals, and discovers he might be a little out of his depth.

Weather: A high of 83 and low of 75. The day will be slightly cloudy up until the evening when there will be light rain.

Events: Most news stations are mentioning the odd behavior of animals. Apparently there have been a few sightings of animals wearing human clothes or attempting to carry them. There is also a big news story of a woman from Tampa, Florida who grew butterfly wings. There are pictures all over the internet of the tiny wings, but people keep arguing over whether it is photoshopped or not.

There is now a website devoted to these weird happenings in the world -- www.neworleanscrashmishaps.net. Apparently a lot of people have some scary stories to tell.

In other news, the government is trying to say that the thing that fell form the sky is part of a satellite that was orbiting the earth. Of course, most people don't believe what the government is saying. Their story seems to change every other day.

Thanks to what the government is saying and what's on the news, people are scared. Things have escalated to a terrifying degree and the hospitals are still overrun with all sorts of horrible cases -- wings sprouting from the back, horns sprouting from the head, leaves growing in peoples' hair. Humanity is clearly hitting a "growth spurt" of sorts and things have only just begun.
