Everything was set to perfection. The fine china was set out, the house elves were dressed in fancy clothes, and Narcissa waited patiently in the living room for her guests to arrive.

	Draco nodded politely, he still had no idea who she was. "I'm sorry are one of Mother's sisters'?" he inquired. He didn't mention the burn mark on the family tree, unsure of that was here or some other relative. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Andromeda nodded. "I'm your mother's older sister," she said. "However, I'm younger than Bellatrix." She hoped it was clear enough for him. All she had to do was act like it was thirty years ago, and she was betrothed to Lucius and talk on his level so he could understand. "You probably don't know much about me, since dear Aunt Walburga saw fit to burn me off the family tree ages ago."

"Ah," she murmured. "Bella always did have a way of injecting as much venom as possible into her stories. Yes, I was betrothed to your father, but I got cold feet at the last minute and ran." She smirked to herself. It had been worth being blasted off the family tree, since she had a wonderful daughter who had blessed her with a grandson.

"I'm afraid I know very little about you, Draco. Your mother and I have only just begun to correspond with each other after nearly twenty-five years."

Andie sighed. Those days weren't quite so fun. "It was difficult at first. When Bella saw that I had been sorted into Ravenclaw, she had fun using relatively harmless jinxes against me." Relatively harmless was a polite way to put it. She still had a scar on her leg from when she fell after being subjected to the leg-locker curse. "Your mother was nice to me, though. I helped her study sometimes."

"Overzealous is a polite way to put it, I think," Andromeda said, trying to keep the disdain from her voice. Rarely did she speak ill of the dead, but when said person was her older sister... Well, it was probably better not to think too much about it.

"I also helped your mother around the castle her first week. You remember how it is when you're a first year and one of the staircases changes, don't you?"

Draco smiled and nodded. "The first week is quite the experience," he said. "I had the most trouble with staircases, I could never remember to skip one because Mother had spent ages punishing my for skipping down the stairs at home." He gave a small laugh,"I still sometimes find myself looking over my shoulder when I skip the trick step, expecting to find Mother looking at me disapprovingly."

Andromeda looked up to see Nymphadora, Remus, and Teddy enter the room. "Draco, would you like to meet Teddy?" she asked, standing up to greet her daughter.

"Nymphadora, Remus, I'm glad you came." She quickly turned her attention to her grandson. "Hello, there wee Teddy. How's Gran's special little boy?" Teddy cooed and giggled, changing his hair to bright turquoise.
