Action Scene: The Malfoy Dinner

Everything was set to perfection. The fine china was set out, the house elves were dressed in fancy clothes, and Narcissa waited patiently in the living room for her guests to arrive.

"Me scared?" Harry laughed, and nodded at the house elf. Where his robes straight? Was his hair still tame as possible? Did he look like he was about to puke? He took great strength from the fact that Ginny looked calm and collected. He wanted to kiss her for it, and realized to some surprise he could.

He cupped Ginny's cheek with one hand and dusted his lips across hers in a brief kiss.

"We're ready, show us to the living room, please."

"Oh hell, no," Harry moaned low under his breath. That was...This was...Harry was prepared to turn around and leave then, but that would be extremely bad form.

Squaring his shoulders and pointedly not looking at either Draco or Snape, he crossed the room, Ginny on his arm to greet the dinner's hostess.

"Narcissa," he greeted with a small bow, trying not to develop a nervous tick.
