Action Scene: Padfoot runs from himself only to find the past isn't ever far behind

Sirius left Lily alone, thinking about all he'd said to her, and wondering if he'd gone round the twist or not. Remus has always been the sane one, the calm, cool and collected one and now, was he actually trying to fill those world weary shoes? Did Harry even need either of them any longer?

Groaning, he rubbed his face and sighed as he looked to the heavens and did the one thing that had always calmed him in the past. He shifted into Padfoot, shaking his fur and turning his nose to the sky. He inhaled the late afternoon scents and looked around the grounds. Taking off at a dash, running full out and hard, he tried to exhaust himself and his mind. Things were so much easier as a dog.

Skidding to a stop and panting, he spotted a figure in the distance. He sniffed the air, snuffling softly as he recognized the scent. He loped closer and changed back, leaning against a tree and breathing heavily as he closed his eyes.

"Come on out, I know you're there."

Remus did remember, though under the circumstances he found it somewhat difficult to call them to mind. After a moment, he had successfully cast the prep spells. He tossed the wand aside and looked up at Sirius. Fuck, they were really going to do this again. Whatever traces of guilt and doubt he had left vanished. His entire body felt aflame with the raw desire, the complete and utter need. He wanted Sirius so badly at that moment, it hurt. He would not put a stop to it this time.

He yanked Sirius down and attacked his lips with his own, blindly reaching out to help Sirius finish with his shirt. He was taking too fucking long.

Sirius moaned into Remus's kiss and returned it with equal fervor, nipping and sucking at his mouth as he slid his hand down Remus's side and griped his thigh. He lifted Moony's leg and settled himself between Remus's thighs once more, reaching between then and pressed two fingers in to Remus, checking the spells. He moaned again, feeling the tight, slickness and eased back, removing his fingers. wrapping them around his prick he slicked himself and then pressed against the head of his cock against Remus.

Remus hissed and arched up into Sirius, wrapping his other leg around Sirius's back, pulling him closer. Closing his eyes, he grit his teeth against the pain and pushed against Sirius. "Don't stop."

Sirius shook his head and thrust again, pushing deeper into Remus, panting against the side of Remus's neck and he rested his forehead against his shoulder. He kissed the pale skin and murmured softly, "Almost there. Love you." Then thrust once again.

Remus groaned, thrusting with Sirius and sighing when he felt him sink all the way in. He threaded his fingers into Sirius's long hair and pulled him closer, pressing their mouths together in a hard kiss.

Sirius moaned and eased back, bucking into Remus hard, knowing that with all the interruptions, he'd not last long. It had been too long since he'd been surrounded like this, encased completely by Remus. He reached between then and wrapped one hand around Remus's cock, stroking him as he continued to frantically fuck his lover.

Remus cried out and clenched his fingers in Sirius's hair. He stared up at Sirius almost disbelieving what he was seeing and feeling but knowing it to be true... and he loved every minute of it. Remus shut his eyes and wrapped his arms around the man above him, struggling to catch his breath. Oh, damn. That had really just happened. Remus couldn't count the number of times he'd dreamt of this in the past two years, how many times he'd woken up in the middle of the night and had to sneak around Tonks to clean up the sticky evidence from his side of the bed.

But that... oh, that had been real. That had been more real than anything he'd done since that night at the Ministry. Sirius had been inside him, all around him, and he could feel him everywhere and smell him and breathe him in, and now he was warm in Remus's arms and it was all so real and so wonderful that Remus wanted to cry again.

He thought he'd returned from the land of the dead days ago, but he'd been wrong. This was what it felt like to come back to life.

Sirius kissed Remus's neck and nuzzled his ear. Merlin, he was real, alive and feeling again and it was the best damned thing in the entire world.

Carefully extracting himself from Remus's arms to lie beside him, he pulled Moony close once more and dug for his wand, waving away the evidence of their tryst. "All right there, Moony?"

He closed his eyes and rested his head against Remus's chest, listening to the rabid beating of his heart and smiling in contentment.

"Of course not only for tonight. And I know you did. That... that means a lot to me," Remus moved one of his hands from Sirius's hair to take Sirius's hand, which was resting on his chest. Now that he'd had a moment to come down from the high, reality was slowly trying to poke its ugly head back in. "I don't know what we're going to do after this, Padfoot. But... just know that I love you... more than anything. And I'm so sorry for everything that's happened."
