Luckily getting Sensei's attention hadn't been that difficult for her and she smiled a little and gave a small nod to his response, it definitely was a way to get a guy's attention but at least it got his attention at all. "Hey, least it worked."
Kentucky continued leaning against the wall because of her leg and she thought to keep the conversation short because she wanted to go sit down. "I wanted to talk to you 'bout maybe stayin' in this place. Your tribe." She took in a small breath before continuing, already feeling her leg aching still.
"I hate to say this but whoever's been cookin', ain't doin' a good job. I know how to cook, and I know how to fight. So how 'bout it, Boss? Can I stay? I kinda' already promised Hazard I'd fix him my famous chili." The mention of what she said to Hazard made a faint smile come back to her lips, knowing she was going to keep her word.
