Background:
Ninomiya grew up in a nice little town near Tokyo, Japan. His family consists of his parents and an older sister who dotes on him. Nino is a spastic and hyper dork as well as affectionate (he likes to cuddle). He is pretty much a 9 year old boy trapped in a 19 year old man's body.
He was somewhat popular at his high school though he mostly hung out with a small really close-knit group of friends. At age 17 he became aware of a hunger that was never quite sated. You know your buddies are awesome when you start giving them hickeys and they laugh it off as a "Nino thing". As unbelievable as it was Nino knew there could only be one explaination for his new habit - he was gay. No one was too surprised.
It was some time later while he was nibbling on the neck of a female acquintance that the real explaination came to him. Nino had raced home then and tried to remember what he knew about vampires. He knew for a fact that he could see himself in a mirror (he spent about 30 minutes in front of one every morning, not to mention his locker mirror). He didn't burst into flames in the sunlight, though recently it had been making him feel uncomfortable. He couldn't change into a bat as far as he knew but that would be REALLY cool if he could. Always one to look on the bright side Nino figured that as long as he kept the neck biting to a minimum and made certain adjustments then it was all good. However he still kept an eye out for any Buffys.
After he graduated from high school Ninomiya spent some time in New York with a friend. At his friend's urging he tried out for a small play and he ended up getting a bit role. It was very difficult with his limited english but Nino wasn't afraid to take risks. It turned out to be a great experience and he made the decision to stay in New York. Since then he has been taking acting classes during the day while bettering his english and making new friends.
Nino's main passion is acting although he also enjoys playing the guitar and dancing. Nino spends his afternoons working at the student lounge, chatting up people and breaking out his awesome dance skillz. He lives in a teeeeeny tiny studio apartment that is partly funded by some money sent from his parents, however he rarely spends any time there.
