Okay guys Roxi here with my final character (hopefully but doubtful lol) here is the rundown of Lovelie.

She is light based as well as having the ability of flight with wings.

Her entire family is made up of supers.

She can speak three different languages. English, Croatian and Russian.

She lived in Croatia for 5 years after escaping the government.

She is very sweet and loving to those who she considered friends.

She wears a harness, that keeps her wings folded at her back.

I've been away for most of the month, because I felt like I needed some time to myself here at home. I won't go into the finer details, but I felt it was better that I took time away rather than quitting outright. I really have enjoyed a lot of the game and chatting with everyone so I didn't want to end that if I didn't really have to do so.

For those who may be new (or just forgot I was here): Hi. I'm Lori and I have three characters.


I apologize for my disappearing act and would be more than happy to finish any scenes that were started before I took my leave (if you so wish). I'm also open to plotting with any characters that may have a link to my three folks. Just let me know.

Hi guys Roxi here with my 3rd character! Basics of her are simple.

1. She was born near Everglades

2. Her father is a senior handler and her mother a nurse for Underworld

6. She's rough around the edges but if looked past it, she is very loyal to her friends

Courtney here with a new character to plot with. Along with all my other characters he is open for all the plottng you can give.

  • Scott Weston. He goes by Scotty, Riot, and very rarely Merman.
  • Handlers are Hazel Dagan & Michael Winter. I would love some plots with his new team.
  • Originally taken to the Everglades when he was recruited into the Regiment in October of last year. He didn't really meet anyone as he was in solitary from October until being transferred to Limbo.
  • He's a member of The Outsiders.
  • His powers are empathic contagion, tactile empathy, and water manipulation. As well as a physical mutation that gives him gills, metallic looking scales, and a clear second eyelid that goes across horizontally to see underwater.

    Not an overly friendly guy but don't let that scare your characters away. You can read more about him in his profile in this journal.

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    Hey there guys! Your friendly neighborhood mods just have some things to bring to your attention with some recent changes that have taken place while you weren't looking! No seriously, it just randomly happened. Let it soak in. You blinked and something changed, lovelies.

    • ACTIVITY CHECK: 4+ tags per character per month, regardless of when the thread was posted. This would encourage old threads to come to a natural conclusion without the pressure of generating new scenes each month. The network comments option would remain in effect as-is (15 network comments) but unlike what we said previously. You can now use network posts whenever you want. If we just see an alarming rate of people skating past with only network posts and no attempt to make a thread. It will be pointed out.

    • NEW CHARACTERS: There's no soft cap. You don't have to drop box anything anymore. Just enjoy yourselves but also remember not to bite more than you can chew and realize that there's certain things that might change the nature of the game coming up later on that you might want to hold onto character ideas until then. :D

    • ASSIGNMENTS: Assignments between handlers and 2-3 agents are no longer just tied to that of just the agents assigned to that handler. If you're interested you can reach out to two people actively seeking agents for assignments here and here. XD

    • MEME OF THE MONTH:

    Comment with your character(s) and other players will respond with Texts from Last Night that their characters would send yours

    @Lucas Team! Sorry wrong journal I know.

    Lucas will be taking two members of his team on assignment this month which will hopefully lead The Regiment to hints of something being created overseas that can make synthetic supers. I'm reaching out to everyone to ask who would want to be part of this (we can discuss what goes down-if we want to thread or doc-etc w/e). Just let me know and we can start getting down to business with this.

    I'm also going to use this as a platform to encourage other players of handlers to work amongst your teams to go out on assignments. If you need help trying to figure out what you guys might want to do. Please feel free to reach out to me. Any way possible. You're all lovely people. I know we can come up with something ~amazing~

    Since not everyone is in the Discord, I wanted to make a formal post to apologize for my total lack of communication this week. It was an extremely busy and exhausting week at work that pretty much took me off my feet as soon as I got home. I've only had a few minutes to look at the game, pop into Discord, and then continue working. :(

    I'm spending the day with my husband today so I'll try to see if I can get caught up either tomorrow or Monday. Also, I haven't been getting all my notifs lately so you may have to hit me up if I haven't replied to something that we've been working on together.

    So this, my lovelies, is the frog lady I've been talking about off and on! I meant to do this earlier, but I had forgotten to request access to the communities, because I'm a dummy.

    Elena Rusakova is a transplant from Russia who was freed during an op in 2016. She was part of a private menagerie of supers that a Russian oligarch kept for his own amusement. She spent about three months in Limbo before being moved to Oblivion to work with a handler who was fluent in Russian. If you were in Limbo in early 2017, you may have seen the albino-looking woman after she was finally fitted with her limiter. I've already spoken to a couple of folks about connections, but if anyone wants to get to know my frog lady, let me know. She was recently transferred back to Limbo, because the overseers thought there were more resources here to get her into fighting shape.

    Also, I don't know a lick of Russian. Google Translate will be in use if I try to write in Russian.

    The SEA has failed to pass.  Riots have erupted in cities across the country. Anti-Supers activists facing off against Pro-Super activists. People are injured and property is destroyed. The violent clashes have a surprising side effect. The tide of public opinion begins to turn towards the favor of the Supers.  It becomes obvious to the leaders of the Anti movement that if the SEA is to be permanently squashed something needed to be done. 

    Six children from the families of the politicians that voted against the SEA are kidnapped and the Pro Super movement framed. The Regiment has been called in to find the children and the people that are responsible for the crime. 

    NEEDS:
    Eight  Agents, Two Handlers.

    Just an FYI on Team Carson/Kingfisher team training. Well how it went before Evan joined at least.

    So every two weeks, the team enters the hologym for a 'mission'. Sometimes it's a retrieval mission, to get an object or even a rescue of an NPC (one time it was another teammate). Sometimes it's a deposit mission where they have to leave something. Other times it's a 'clear the scene' mission, there's been all kinds. The typically take place in an office or town setting. One thing is always true, Charlie is -somewhere- in the scene with a sniper rifle and in order to complete the mission you have to not get taken out. (Sim bullets of course, but they do still sting and yes you're only out-out if it's a kill shot the sim will let you know how bad the shot is and what you're status is)

    This week's training will have a new addition of Evan who will be on the ground with the team working as overwatch and the 'man in the van'.

    So any ideas on how your chars would have done in the past? Reminder, Charlie may not have any powers, but she is actually a legit sniper :).

    Hey, everyone! I'm Megan. So excited to be joining you all. Generally speaking, I'm up for pretty much any scene.

    This is Izzy. She likes to dance, and I do link YouTube videos when appropriate. She has kinetic energy absorption, energy conversion, and kinetic clone creation. She tends to be a bit playful, and sweet to anyone she likes. She does have a meaner side, but it rarely comes out unless seriously provoked. For the most part, she's pretty easy-going and easy to get along with.

    Remington Grey aka Psyche has been part of the Reginment since 2016. Her powers are telekinesis (including tactile telekinesis) and enhanced senses. She is the youngest of the Applegate family and got married to her professor when she was eighteen years old. After asking for a divorce he turned her in as a way to punish her.
