The fest is open to any writer, artist or podficcer aged 18+. All characters and ships from the wider Potterverse (including Fantastic Beasts and The Cursed Child) are welcome. When considering what constitutes 'horror’, feel free to think broadly – psychological thrillers, dark and twisty angst and chilling tales, mindfuckery and so on, as well as the classic tropes of the genre. Creations focused around creatures such as werewolves, vampires, zombies, inferi, acromantulas, dementors and the like are very welcome, also elements of the Potterverse itself that are 'horrific’ – the Horcruxes, splitting of souls, Imperius and so on. Claiming is open for this year's HP Horror Fest.
