The weather was getting warmer now that Spring was in full bloom. That meant the lake looked rather appetizing on days where the sky was sunny and speckled with fluffy clouds. Ironically, it was the day Audrey suggested they all go out to swim.
And that day was today.
So if there was a lake monster that ate all of them, that was on her. Rose didn’t think there was a lake monster; she assumed the hotel would have warned them about that.
Rose didn’t have her own bathing suit. She really didn’t have much in the way of hers, rather all the clothes she’s been wearing had been gifted by the hotel. Beggars can’t be choosers, right? Audrey, though. Apparently, she had a few. It was simple, the bikini. The kind you had to tie at the hips and the back of the neck. The kind that accentuated curves.
At the shore, Rose was the first one to strip down to their bathing suit. Lazily, she toed her clothing into a pile. “Maybe I should go in first,” she suggested. The edges of her mouth quirked, smirking at Jughead.
