Draco hadn't seen his uncle's entry, but news had been spreading like wild fire and he was determined to find out if the rumors were true. He was trying to seek his mother out, but seeing as it was the first day of school, that was fairly impossible. Besides, he didn't want to trouble her when she was busy anyway. Hence, he was about to give up when he spotted a familiar head of hair.

"Uncle Sirius?" He called. "Uncle?" He caught up to the man, his eyes wide with astonishment. "Is it true then? Is it?"

Summary: A surprise party is thrown for the wonderful Draco.

The decorations were in place - balloons, streamers, a banner, and all sorts of colourful things that James picked out. A table was set aside filled with gifts for the birthday boy and another table was filled to the brim with anything and everything imaginable for all the guests to nibble. The cake was set up on another table with the ice cream and crisps, surrounded by plates and forks, ready to be eaten. All-in-all, Lily was pleased with how she and Andromeda had managed to pull everything off in a little over a day. They worked well together and it showed.

At six, Lily insisted that everyone hide behind the sofas or under the tables. Draco would be arriving with the Tonks's under the guise of going to dinner with them for his birthday. She wanted it to be a proper surprise and that included everyone jumping out and yelling SURPRISEEEE!! at Draco when he arrived!

Uncle Sirius,

Remember those lessons Severus teaches me every Tuesday? Well, Dora wrote me and she apparently wants to see me and I hope it's really just that she wants to see me, but I'm slightly scared concerned that it might be a set up. I mean...we can't even know who is behind the journals, yeah? Or what if Grandmother made her write me because I never went to see her like I was instructed? Anyway, long story short, Severus will get me out of school earlier so that I can get to London, but he thinks it wouldn't look good if he brought me to her so...will you? Just to make sure I don't get kid--- everything goes as it should? You wouldn't need to stay and listen or anything...just make sure no one's lurking, I guess.
