Just a thought- maybe we are looking at this wrong. She had the baby as a pony. Are there any illnesses common in horses following a birth? Or something that would be dormant in a horse, but badly affect a human? Maybe we should be looking at equestrian medicine.

Steroidal antibiotics, IV fluids and the usuals.

Usual to humans right?
Well, I can come to the hospital and help with scans and diagnosis if no one objects to it.

Yes, humans. You think AJ might not be wholly human? Even now?

Not necessarily. But if the problem occurred while she was still a horse, the change of anatomy could have shifted the problem either to a different location than would normally present in a human or to a different extent. Possibly.
It's hard to say without scanning or seeing her myself.

The only diagnostic left is a full body MRI and my equipment isn't capable of that, energy wise. Any chance you're an engineer too?

Quite a big chance of that, yep.
But I can also run similar scans with my sonic screwdriver.

I'll have to ask Tony first, next of kin consent and everything.

Of course. I'll be nearby, just let me know.

Oh. The scans are non-invasive, quick and she won't feel even a little thing if he'll be worried about that at all.

The scans that are taking place with a screwdriver?

Oh for... Sonic screwdriver. It's a highly advanced and versatile tool. Yes, it can be used as a screwdriver - in a way - but it's mainly a scanning and diagnostic tool, well amongst various other things.
The point is, I've scanned lots of individuals with it, including friends, I would never use it to harm, only ever to help.

I could even use it to improve your MRI scanner.

Oh okay. Makes sense.

If you can improve our diagnostic imaging, I'd be grateful.

I can definitely do that.
But if it's ok with, whoever needs asking.. Tony, was it? ....if it's ok with him, I could probably give you a diagnostic result with the screwdriver in a matter of minutes.

Tony's words were, and I quote, "Whatever the fuck needs to be done to save my wife." So I think that's consent.

Well, in that case, I'll be right there.
