I know that I spent Christmas on the island, and yet suddenly I feel as though I spent it in Poplar as well- there was an unexploded bomb and we were all evacuated- there was a Polio outbreak and- oh. Nonnatus house is no more. Gosh. It all worked out in the end, but- it was the strangest thing. It feels like a memory more than a dream.

Now, I know that we have quite the increasing number of children on the island here, and I was thinking that it might be really good fun if we had a little check that all of your immunisations are up to date. They'll stop you from getting terribly sick, and if you're awfully good, you'll get a delicious sweet.

Parents- It would be greatly appreciated if you would being your child along, or any children in your care, so that we can see about getting their vaccinations up to date, and creating a proper record for their health. Contact me for an appointment, or simply show up to an open clinic

I'll be holding an open clinic every Monday and Wednesday, 9.00-12.00, (and in the afternoon, if required, or by appointment. I will see how this plays out, and cut or increase hours as necessary.)This is primarily for obstetrics and paediatric care, but I will be happy to see anyone about a problem they don't want to bother a doctor with and I will pass you on to them if necessary.

Also, please remember that you can call upon me 24/7 for any concerns regarding a pregnancy, or the health of your child.

And back to A) Of course, Doctor Bruce is a genius, and I don't deny THAT, no more than do I know why you think I was trying to interfere in HIS work... I mean, honest, dear, is this about the BLOOD REPLENISHING POTION I offered up as a solution to the depleting blood BANKS!? I mean, OBVIOUSLY it was needed, as just a few weeks later, when the NIGHTMARES began, Dr Emerson had to REQUEST more blood to be donated, upon this very NETWORK....! I mean, OBVIOUSLY this Island DOESN'T have the necessary herbs and such as for a blood-replenishing POTION, but... at least I TRIED to help; I won't say "more than YOU have, at least" because really, I don't know what sort of help you offered Doctor Bruce... With your "mutant" blood.... Whatever THAT means!

And back down to C) I don't bloody CARE what your IQ is, anyway's; I mean, my brother might have cared, but - he's not in this discussion, now is he? I mean, you're a stupid, ignorant BITCH who cannot ADMIT when she's WRONG! At least I Can admit that much; I can admit I was wrong to contact Harry on the mistletoe thread, after avoiding talking to him at ALL for as long as we'd been broken UP....!

I mean, honest, Maryanne, if you want to check Harry's PHONE - if he'll allow you, that is, without protesting that YOU were supposed to LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE - you'll see I had NO private communiques with HIM since the text he sent to break UP with me! Indeed, I had thought of that little notion, dear lady, but - well, she is the one who actually verbally assaulted me first on this post... A perfectly INNOCENT observation about a child I knew had shown up all on his lonesome... And she went PSYCHO-BITCH on me - for the second time in as many weeks, I might add...! I mean, how was I supposed to trust that there was any chance that she would leave me the FUCK alone if I actually Did stop responding to her absurd allegations, and instead just - you know - do what she DID and accuse me of being a bloody Street-walker to that NURSE....! I mean, honest, I am an honest woman,who has never whored myself out in that way, and thus it is I think it is incredibly unfair to give Nurse Jenny such an awful impression of me...!

I see that you've told her to lay off me, however, so - hopefully she'll actually listen to you -as she refused to listen to Harry Dresden, who is ALSO ostensibly her friend - and I SHALL lay off her, if she lays off of me and mine own family!

Or you could be an adult and back off of her whether she backs off you or not. I get that she insulted you, but you mentioned her family and you know how she is about her family. So I guess it could be seen that you provoked her. Because you know she's very protective of the people she loves and you know that she hates you and yet you mentioned someone she loves.

Stop talking about her or anyone she cares about and she will stop badmouthing you. And honestly, the fighting back and forth gives a worse impression than Maryanne insulting you and you ignoring her. Just saying.

I would have to care what you thought about me to even care whether or not you believed me or not. Seeing that I don't. Seeing that I've evaluated you to be unworthy of any sort of death, because it would mean I would have to clean up your disease ridden corpse which would most likely foul up the water supply... And well that's hardly worth that sort pain in the ass that it would cause.

Merry was a very polite hobbit. But again I don't care whether you believe me or not. He worked in the pub with me. I was around him a lot and could actually consider him a friend. I was there when he vanished. But again your opinion is worth less than the foul air you used to excrete it.

A) The blood was needed for something entirely different, but you're stupid I don't expect you to know that. So your potion would have done no good. And the island probably has the herbs, you're just too stupid to find them. But then, I wouldn't recommend you going out into the woods to begin with. Something might eat you.

My 'mutant' blood means I can give blood more than you can, more than any human can, more often. It has a type, and it's exactly like human blood, and it carries antibodies just like human blood does. That in small enough words for you to understand?

C) I can admit when I'm wrong, but I'm not wrong. Not where you're concerned. And this isn't about Harry, this is about my son.

When you leave my family alone I'll leave you alone. But the next time I see mention of any of my children's name from your lips or fingers, I will come explain things to you in person. So you understand them better. Are we clear?

Indeed, dear, I intend to go to my separate corner as soon as I've clarified two small points,for your MUTATED mind to mull over...

A) I offered the blood replenishing potion as a solution for the obviously dwindling blood supply on this island... NOT for the purpose of Bruce's research into ANTIBODIES...!

and B) Well, it was my ostensible harassment of Harry that set you off on me in the first bloody place, wasn't it? I was just trying to dispel that notion from your tiny little mind - of course, you seem determined to hang onto your prejudices against me, rather than letting them go to let in the bloody truth - so yeah, I am DONE with you... You know capitalizing every other word doesn't make you seem smarter, it just makes you seem even more 'special', the helmet wearing, better remind her how to breathe sort of special.

A) The blood was for something else your potion wouldn't have done any good. God how do you get around being so thick? I mean how do you even hold that head up? It must weigh a metric ton, because of the thickness.

B) Actually that's were you're wrong. But you're stupid so I don't expect you to get that. And you really shouldn't throw stones dear, really I'm surprised you function with as smooth as your brain must be.

Indeed, dear, I think I shall stay away from the supermarket - as if I'd been there in weeks, anyway's....! I mean, I'm married to Ernest-fucking-HEMINGWAY, the renowned hunter; why should I even bother with your obviously inferior meats, that may not even be labelled properly within that supermarket.... Of course. You and your son can come stay in Stark Tower. There are protocols in place that wont allow her beyond the lobby. If your health is bad JARVIS can do scans and keep you abreast of the situation, set alarms for your medications, among other things. He can't babysit your kid but we have a lot of people in the building that are willing to help out.

Let me know when you have him, I wouldn't put it passed her to use a kid as a shield.

Yes really. But if you decide to take her back she still will not be able to do more than enter the building. Even if she does she'll set off alarms and get turned down by a very snarky AI if she tries to use the elevator or any other means to enter the living quarters. I wont let her that close to my family.

I'm not going to punch her lights out. My husband has seen fit to intervene. But he's already told me he wont be doing it again. She wont get another pass to insult me. Or provoke me, which I don't doubt was her intention by mentioning my son in the first place.
