Hi everyone,

I'm Tom. I'm Jake's brother. I arrived a few days ago. So, err, hi everyone and thanks again to Bruce for stitching me up. Wouldn't have made it without you, man.

Has anyone seen Isabel's lamp? I would like to make a wish for my brother. Don't tell him, please, don't wanna get his hopes up or something.

On another note, are there scientists on this island? Is there like a research group here?

	Yeah, no worries. Handy. But I don't like the differentiation between soft and hard science. If you've got a bad researcher chemistry can be done as "soft" as psychology and a good researcher does psychology in a "hard" way. It's the matter of how you do it and not the subject itself. Heh! True enough, Dr Sully sir...! I mean, I DO do my research in a very "hard" manner -- in fact, I'm doing research right NOW! I think there's something absolutely fascinating about the island's inhabitants -- especially the pathological liar who introduced herself to me as a hairdresser named "Tiffany" who is OBVIOUSLY NOT a hairdresser given that she's working on NUCLEAR FUSION...! Heh!
