We have a few very good, and very very intelligent physicians that are both willing and wanting to do all they can to keep us healthy and safe. You can help them do this by donating a phial of blood.

Who can be counted to step forward and help the community as a whole?

I can tell you I have already volunteered.

If humans get injured badly enough, and they lose a lot of their own blood, they can use donated blood to keep them alive. I'd only be giving like, a pint or so, and my body can then make more blood to replace the stuff I've donated.

I lost a lot of blood when I was shot, and I think I burned through something like 15 units when I was in hospital? I dunno, it's all kinda fuzzy. It's only fair that I return the favor.

	15 units!? As in... 15 PINTS!? Oh dear G-d...! I mean, honestly, I think I can do away with the need for any more blood to be given over for such purposes... 	I dunno what the hell a blood potion is, but it's probably not gonna be much use if someone's bleeding out or being operated on or whatever. Sounds more like something you'd need afterwards. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Also your blood may hold the antibodies for illnesses that come from your world that could strike the people here. It's not unheard of. I ~~think~~ lost someone very dear to me because of an illness from another world. (Reply to this) (Parent)
