I mean, let's be real. Splitting time isn't something we can do. But, because for some crazy reason I've been doing a lot of work with fusion reactors and Iron Man's pectorals, I got to thinking about how it maybe is that we're all here and that this Island exists and if we could split time like we can split the atom -- I mean, it might technically mean personally stepping on Einstein's ballsack (by which I mean his Theory of Relativity) and I left my 'Fuck Me' Pumps in New York City, but I bet I can make do.

The island, you mean?

Instead of imagining parallel dimensions as something that always existed, imagine them as something created by splitting time, the energy and force of the split, could, I think, send ripples through a number of universes which would account for people dropping in here from other places, multiple times, multiple versions -- and the radiation and cast off might explain the mutations.

....that actually makes sense, though some of my professors back in university would probably tear their hair out upon hearing it.

Well sure, this is theoretical as all shit.

Everything starts out theoretical as hell at the beginning. The question is how to test it.

I might need a TARDIS.

You know, it makes me wonder if I could build something like that? Talk about theoretical as hell and bleeding edge.

It might be impossible but it would keep me busy and out of trouble for a while and not thinking about booty calling Thomas

I don't believe in the impossible ordinarily and here it seems like an even bigger waste of time to think you can't do something.

True. It's just the last time I deliberately messed with time and space I was sucked into a different dimension by accident.

I'm still going to see what I can draw up, but it makes me a bit wary.
