I want to understand this place. What lies beyond the city? Who has brought us here?

How can Jake be here from one time when I come from another? How can we breathe the same air?

Why do people seem not to be bothered that we have been brought here unwillingly? Have you all lost your will to fight? Do you not miss your homes?

The only thing beyond the city is: Forest to the north, beyond the forest is a meadow, and beyond the meadow is a line of mountains. To the south is a jungle, passed the jungle is a beach. And surrounding the whole thing is a whole lot of water. Only the boaters could tell you just how far you can go out before you can go no farther.

The who? There's a rumor of a little girl that read us all here. I haven't seen her. I have heard the bastard that likes to play nasty tricks on us though. And I would love to get fang and claw into him, just once.

People from different points in time is fairly common. But it's like asking how can we all be from different universes? There's no answer to it. I mean there are the books. But I'm not one to pry into someone else's private life, without their knowledge.

The air... Well maybe you're altered just enough so that you can breathe the same air as we can? Or maybe it's just a happy enough median that there is no adverse affects on anyone.

I for one, don't miss my home. I have a son here, and I'm relatively safe here. I don't fear that my pelt will be plastered in front of some bastards fire place, here.

Few that I have names for, some prehistoric for Earth, some natural herding animals appeared a few days ago. But there are deadly things too. Things I don't have names for. Ones that kill even the best skilled hunters. A man that survived the worst his world could throw at him.

Yes, go into one of the buildings that doesn't have lights. You should find stacks of books, take just one and skim it. You'll see the person that's named on the front's life from their perspective. So... I guess the rumors could be true.

There probably is, but I don't understand the way time and space bends so I don't one for you, I'm afraid.

Why couldn't he where you're from?

He will stay. But I don't see myself leaving any time soon. I was the first to arrive. I've survived everything the island has thrown at us so far. So I'll probably be cursed to be the last to leave. Or die here.

I don't know, there could be, even among the piles of books; there is a shop that would sell them if we used currency. It sells books that tell the whole story, rather than just one person's part in it.

Be very careful either way. I can prowl among them, with little fear, as one of them. But I have seen the viciousness that they have for one another. And as beautiful as you are, you will stand out among the foliage. If you go out alone, let someone else know.

	Talk to my friend Applejack Apple, and she can help bring it to life for you. I don't know if she can help you plant grass but she help you make it more habitable.
