This place.

I've done my best to attempt to understand what this island is and what it was that I did here before, and I'm left perhaps feeling much more confused that I was when I started. But I imagine, as important as the past may be, there is no reason to get lost in it ~~at least, not here, where everything is so unfamiliar~~. It is the present, as unknown as she is, where I must focus my efforts, and on the people here who are as lost as I am.

With that in mind, and with respect -- I pose the question: Why do you, any of you, think we're here?
