I am finding the differences between the treatment of men and women far more disturbing than I ever thought they would be. When I was a woman, I think that I was too used to the way I was treated to see clearly how internalized such things could be, and how deeply such things persist in our society.

So following from that thought, I should like to ask some questions. I think perhaps just one at a time, since there is much to think about and discuss about each.

So, to begin.

Would you consider a woman who works, of her own free will and with no pressure or compulsion, in a strip club to be equally respectable to, say, a teacher or a waitress? Please explain your answer either way.

I am glad that my words have brought you some comfort, my dear. It is only one of many things that I have noticed since I began inhabiting a male body, but a disturbing one, indeed!

I read earlier that one of the ladies here was thinking of starting something of the sort, but the feedback she got on it was...not altogether positive.

Oh, sweetie, has Turgon put you in a trance being all sassy with your body?

I think the island might be ... too small for it. There aren't enough open minds for there to be a strip club here. Not one that's open all the time, anyway, or not one that was solely with women dancers . Maybe something that's once or twice a week? Sure. The male population does over crowd the female a little bit. Almost two to one. It would get boring for the same few girls to take off their clothes for the same crowd of men every night.

I only wish Sara would touch my body with me in it! But I will be patient, because I do not want it if he is not ready.

Are there so many more men than women?

Well, be sassy back at him sugar! Make it hard for him to resist you, you don't have to put pressure on him with words or by touching him. Just be provocative to the point that you're irresistible. I don't doubt, with this time spent in your body that he might be more willing than he was before.

Yes. It's weird. Usually it's the other way around.

Oh, I could not. Sara is so shy that I would not want to do anything to make him uncomfortable. His comfort is so much more important to me than my physical needs. I have all the time in the world; I will be patient. He seems very strong and noble, but he is so soft and shy. How he blushes!

It is strange indeed!

It doesn't put a strain on your relationship that your needs aren't being met too?

But I guess since we have so many bold women that it kind of equals out. Even Lothi is coming into her own. Women like Briseis are pulling away from their repressed roles. And then there are your kind, where you've always been equals.

I only want him to be happy. That is one of my needs, too.

That is good for them. I hope they continue to do so.

Have you talked to him about it?

The 'Girl Power' in me say that means we outnumber the men.

He says that he spent 500 years without me and it is taking some time to get used to it again. Which makes sense to me.

I may be too dependant on it, but if I lived 500 years and some how found Daryl again... I wouldn't hesitate. He wouldn't know what hit him.

Have you at least kissed him senseless?

Nay, but we have spent many late nights talking. He still loves me, and that is what truly matters.

And he has discovered since being in my body that he still desires me, so it is enough. It will come in time.

Well, if you want a start. I would say start there. Maybe not kissing him senseless, but enough that he wont doubt that you want him down to his teeny tiny toe.
