This Saturday I'd like to host a dance at the nightclub, like the ones they used to have during the war. It will be all big band and jazz music and swing dancing, with finger foods and a bar.

I've got it all ready almost, I just need people so everyone is welcome, in clothing that looks from the 40's if you can find it, if not just wear what you have. I'll start the music and put out the food at 6 but I won't be there myself until 7.

And please keep quiet to Ms. Peggy Carter, I'd like it to be a surprise.

	This sounds terribly exciting. I'm afraid that I also have no idea what 40s clothing would be like. It was 1922 when I was taken by the island, so I can scarcely imagine. Could you give me some tips? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Much of it seems very similar, yes. The shoes and hats, particularly. But- you don't wear vests? I see that most men here on the island don't, but where I'm from, it would be considered indecent to be seen publicly with only a shirt and jacket. I'll see what I can do.
