Yes. Even when he did good things...well, everyone in my village thought he must have done horrible things to me, even when I told them he hadn't, just because he asked for me to come with him in return for saving us from the ogres.

When people think you're dark, it's...extremely difficult to prove otherwise. You have to go quite out of your way to make them believe it sometimes. Makes it easier to understand why a lot don't just bother and let people think what they will. I admire you for at least trying.
