So. I talked to a ghost earlier today, and she kind of freaked out. I didn't mean for anyone to freak out, but she did.

So I guess I should just come out and say it to everyone. My dad's Hades. The God of the Dead. And yeah, I'm called the Ghost King in the Underworld, 'cause I'm in charge of controlling the spirits of the Underworld and stuff like that. I have all sorts of powers over creatures of the Underworld. Ghosts. Furies. Hellhounds. You know. That sort of thing.

But I'm not a bad person. And I'm not going to do bad things to you as long as you don't do bad things to me. I can't help it that I can do these things, it's how I was born and it's how I am.

It's just so weird 'cause ghosts back home respect me more.

I'd honestly expect better of non-human folk, treating people like that, since you'd think they'd know what it's like. I can't claim to understand personally, but I've been close to people who...have had similar experiences, so you won't have to worry about any of that from me. After all, even a place like this would be terribly boring if we were all whatever normal is supposed to be.

	Yes! Normal is boring. Really boring. And...when I tried to be a normal kid, monsters tried to eat me so I don't want that anymore. (Reply to this) (Parent)
