If everyone only does what they think is right, how can anyone be wrong?

Well, generally speaking, foul things usually do something to deserve killing. And just because they took it first doesn't mean taking it back is bad.

There is always a loophole.

And so we reach the moral divide and the true intent behind my question. How do you decide what is foul and what is not and what is stealing and what is reclaiming?

I may say a thing is foul and you may say it is fair; but we are both right in our understanding, so how may either of us be wrong?

I think, where you and I are in regard to things foul and wrong, they run down the same stream.

Things that are foul do foul things. Tarnish the innocent in some way. Reclaiming is very different from stealing. Like for instance if you were going to go into a store and take something out of it, then that's... Well here it has a loophole. But if you walk into someone's home and take something that was someone elses to begin with, with intent to return it to the person, that's reclaiming.

Perhaps so, but that is not the intent behind the question. It is more philosophical, and broad. Above us, and beyond you and I. A collective 'you' to form 'us.'

What say you, then, to a man who kills your friend. But he is my friend and I saw justice in his actions. You would call foul, and I say fair. Are we both right or wrong?

It depends, what did my friend do to deserve death? And why didn't I kill him first? There is such thing as justifiable homicide.

And would you have wisdom and strength of mind to remain calm enough to ask?

My head wants to say yes. But knowing what I know about my other side... I don't know. It would depend on the circumstances.
