If everyone only does what they think is right, how can anyone be wrong?

Perhaps so, but that is not the intent behind the question. It is more philosophical, and broad. Above us, and beyond you and I. A collective 'you' to form 'us.'

What say you, then, to a man who kills your friend. But he is my friend and I saw justice in his actions. You would call foul, and I say fair. Are we both right or wrong?

It depends, what did my friend do to deserve death? And why didn't I kill him first? There is such thing as justifiable homicide.

And would you have wisdom and strength of mind to remain calm enough to ask?

My head wants to say yes. But knowing what I know about my other side... I don't know. It would depend on the circumstances.
