It was selfish too, I wanted to join up and there was no other way. I think it's okay, to not want to do that, even if you have a power or are a mutant. It's dangerous and difficult to deal with. There are certainly times I wish I was just...normal. I um...ah, sorry?

That seems like a long time, do you wish to go back?

I think to some degree it seems to be a difference in culture. I'll admit I don't always even understand what that group of people is speaking about, perhaps they think of things differently than you or I because of where they're from. It's bound to happen when you bring people from different worlds and force them to interact. I don't think it's necessarily anyone's fault.

I'd ask why you wanted to join up so bad, but I think back then it was just the thing for young men to do. Right? Proudly fighting for your country. The alternate universe stuff creeped me out, I wont lie. It wasn't the danger, because I rolled over and purred for the Hulk. In the safe confines of the Dangerroom, but none the less. And look where I got landed anyway? I burned a bridge when I left.
