I could really use a drink or like fifty. Or some really wicked lovemaking till the sun comes up.

Now, I can drink any man under the table. Or male, if you aren't a human. But only one can slip between my sheets. And I can promise it isn't you. Unless you share two initials with my son.

And you accuse my wife of self-pity.

Self-pity? This isn't for self pity, you want me to forget booze is one hell of a way to do it.

And usually, where I come from, when you remember the dead, you have a drink to them. And spill just a little bit on the ground in remembrance. But I guess you wouldn't know what it's like to honor people in death, or life.

Actually, I would.

Like I said, I'm as human as you are. My father died in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, and my mother died of sadness when I was just a few months old.

That's funny, because I'm not human at all. And I physically hurt w

So you'd honor your Mother, and Father. But not your son. Wow. That says something.

How long have you been here Tuor? Long enough to figure out that this place isn't easy. What you're saying, is that the time he spent here, wasn't enough for him to be remembered for. Not everyone on that list died. But I'll be damned if a single one is going to be forgotten. And if you and your wife don't like that, you can both pick a cheek and kiss my brilliantly white ass, because I honestly don't care.

He was here, as a man, whether you want to acknowledge that or not. That's on you.
