Death touches this island in wicked ways. In too many ways, too frequently, really. And there is no service we might do for all those who fall, whether we know them or not.

But I thought it might.. be more equal and respectful to erect a stone wall and write the names of those who pass upon it. Each of them! Even if they are gone before now. And let there stand a permanent marker to their lives here. A collective marker, rather than individual stones. Are we not a community of misfits? Lost in the void. For though, when we die and leave this place, we are leaving behind a piece of ourselves. We have irrevocably touched each other in many ways by simply being here, and so we might honor those influences by remembering those who come and go.

And with such a wall we may let our names and theirs stand in testimony to the future inhabitants of this island. I am under no illusions and believe that one day all the original dwellers will be gone from this place. And who should remember us but the stones and the streams and the lonely streets?

Let us leave our legacy, if only in name, if not in deeds.

Thank you, for their names. If you should remember any others over time please tell me. The wall will be large enough to add more. Tragic though it may be to think about.

And I apologize on behalf of my daughter. You have listed all of my descendents and therefore her's in your list and it is.. a grievous thing to learn about. We will never know them for various reasons that are out of our hands, but it both saddens my heart and gives me joy that they do indeed live.

There was a that crashed into the island not long after everyone else started getting here. I don't remember anyone other than two with good reason. Sean was my twin brother. But Matt Murdock was one too, I remember him because he was always good to my kind when he wasn't wearing a mask.

I can't say all of them died. They just all were here. And having dealt with this place for almost ten months, if not a little longer... If a person is here for two seconds they deserve to be remembered. No matter how they go out. It's a curse that I remember them all.

	Oceanic Flight 815. But the people who were supposed to be on it, weren't. Sherlock and Watson were, they survived with a few scratches. The first time Charlie Pace was here, he was brought by the plane, and so was Sawyer. Or James Ford. But they were both... Thanks, but you'll be doing all the work, I think you should be the one to unveil it.

I don't know that we'd get everybody, but we could tell them what's going on. I'll bribe them with food.

That would be the hard part. Everything else is over by the church, but it would be a little redundant to put it there, with the graves. I'd say the middle of town, but I wouldn't want to risk you getting to close to the Spire and pissing it of, and it turning you into a girl or something.

I'll have to think on it for a little bit.

And I would agree--only because I share close resemblance to my sister, and she was very beautiful. I would aspire to achieve such heights of loveliness as her, but I lack a certain grace and natural elegance that comes with femininity. I fear you would laugh at my poor imitation of female-ness.

My sisters walked in on us...all three of them. And my mother. And my father that one time, and Findekáno - how many times? And your mother. And Aredhel, remember that time she made you help her with her tutoring work for a month so she wouldn't tell your father about that time in his study while he was away to Alqualondë?
