I love the spring! I remember how much hope I would find when the trees came into bloom in Ithilien, even over the creeping darkness of Mordor. It was as if it were a promise that even in the darkest times, good could triumph.

I give this to all of you who are hurting - and I know there are many of you - keep faith. For every winter will become spring, and bloom the brighter for the darkness you have survived.
