It is good to have a room of my own again. The tank was a nice temporary solution but our new building seems custom designed with an aquatic being living on land in mind.

When I can get transport out to it, yes. I don't like to impose on Isabel but she's teleported me there and back a few times.

Do you want company when you do?

You can swim?

Yeah, I can. It's a thing that most people can do, you know.

But if you find me the right mammal, I'm even faster.

Apologies. It depended on what world you were on back in the Republic, and what species. Not as common as you might think.

I don't understand.

Really? All right.

I can turn into animals. It takes me a bit to get them right but if you find a whale, sea lion or dolphin, I could copy it.

I can outswim a moncal now, and that is saying something. I sometimes wish I'd kept my legs, but less and less often

Really? I thought all you could change into was a bat?

Some kind of dolphin would probably be your best bet. I'd certainly welcome a swimming partner.

A moncal?

So did I. Turns out I was wrong.

A dolphin it is if we can find one. Maybe I should just watch a few episodes of Flipper and see if it's enough.

Apologies, slang is something I really shouldn't use, especially when the other party isn't familiar with it. A Mon Calamari, an aquatic species from the republic.

That could be very useful to you.

What is 'flipper'?

Ah. You know you don't need to apologise so much.

Yeah, it can be.

A TV show about a dolphin. It's for kids.

I suppose you're right. Too much time by myself in the tank I guess.

How did you discover this ability?

We need to change that then.

Maryanne told me I should try different forms because when AJ had my body she could turn into a horse.

Thankfully I'm done with that.

Oh! That's certainly interesting. It must be nice to be able to change forms at will.

Good.

It is, yeah. It just hurts like hell but then it's nice.
