My husband and I do not lie to each other, ever. And we have been married a thousand years. That is testament to it, I think.

There's a difference, though, between never lying to someone and finding out someone you care about has been lying to you for 15 years.

I think lying about these things was not, perhaps, something you should have done? But it is better to get it out in the open I think. Now there can be healing, where there could not before.

Maybe if she gets to where she's willing to talk to me. Right now she's not and I don't blame her.
