So whatever it was that made me tell the truth is done with me. Guess it only took 48 hours to completely ruin me.

I would not worry so much. The truth can never really hurt you.

Tell that to my sister.

Perhaps it is difficult at first, but it is all the better for the knowing.

My husband and I do not lie to each other, ever. And we have been married a thousand years. That is testament to it, I think.

There's a difference, though, between never lying to someone and finding out someone you care about has been lying to you for 15 years.

What did you lie to her about?

The fate of her first boyfriend and the fact that I've been scaring men away from her for years.

I think lying about these things was not, perhaps, something you should have done? But it is better to get it out in the open I think. Now there can be healing, where there could not before.

Maybe if she gets to where she's willing to talk to me. Right now she's not and I don't blame her.

Give her time.

She will come around, I know it.

Indeed, good sir...! I mean, I couldn't help but to read your conversation with the Lady Elenwë - sorry...! But anyhow, well... I do think that your sister will eventually forgive you for keeping men away from her...! I mean, I speak as a sister, myself - even a little sister, which I presume Gretel is to you...

But anyhow, MY big brother used to scare off any and all of my menfolk friends..! As a matter of fact, I wasn't even able to have any menfolk friends over to my house for the summer hols... but even so, I understood he was just being overprotective of his little, ickle sister... and THAT, I was able to forgive him for... if not for certain other things he hid from me... like being a bloody rotten DEATH EATER!

We're twins. Though I'm older by a few minutes. But, it's a lot more complicated than that.

I caught her first boyfriend cheating on her and handled the situation let's just say very poorly.

Indeed? Do tell...! I mean, about the first boyfriend, naturellement, though I won't say no to any information about the complicated... twinly relationship you have with your sister... If only MY big brother had found it in him to CASTRATE the men who bloody well TOOK ME on the FLOOR OF THE MINISTER'S OFFICE... then I might have forgiven him even for the Death Eating business...!

I mean, if you're on the MARKET for a new little sister... if you're about to say what I think you're about to say...!

Let's just say that he and the skank I caught him with didn't really need to worry about breathing for much longer after I caught them.

Oh...! Indeed? Well, then... I suppose THAT'S even better than what I thought you were going to say...!

I mean, do you want another kid sister, whether or not Gretel ever comes around? Heh! I mean, honestly, my OWN brother would NEVER have done anything of the kind for me...! (heh! sorry!)
