I quite miss Paris. This place can become such a bore. ~~I suppose this is what happens when you have a lover that doesn't share the same strange sleep schedule as you~~

	I do in some ways, I suppose, but when you are used to a place--attached, you might say--it is hard to...let go. I hardly miss people, but places... I have a passion for beautiful architecture, mademoiselle. Paris is full of such buildings, such grandeur. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It is hidden. In a deep valley called Tumladen, surrounded by mountains peaked with snow.

The steep hills made a great circle, and within that circle sat a wide plain. Nearer to the mountain steeps sat a hill, with a level top. Flat as a table, and on that very summit I built my city. Gondolin! Her walls were of white stone, and her uplifted towers bore raised flags for the twelve Houses of my Lords.

Her stairs and walls--each building as such--were made with stone and white marble, cooled in the daylight by the fountains of Amon Gwareth. There were courts and gardens with bright flowers, and towers of great height and slenderness.

Squares lit with fountains, and glens and glades that were home to birds.

And the King's palace! Ah my long home. And beside it the towr of the King. The loftiest in the entire city. Before her gates stood fountains that shot up twenty fathoms and seven to the air and fell in crystal rain.
