This place is many things, but I do not think it is boring.

But I have traveled from from Europe to the Far East and back. I have built monuments, I have entertained crowds of people in the thousands and even royalty, I have filled my mind with the kind of knowledge that is lost to proper society. This island feels like a cage, both in the physical and the mental, to one such as myself. I think without my muse here I might go insane.

I don't look to you. Why would I look to people I have no desire in truly knowing? I simply mean that this place lacks any sort of inspirational culture or the kind of resources and space I would desire.

The implication is in the writing. Why else tell a public forum of your current state if you do not seek to be distracted by them? For surely if you are merely bored and don't want to make a deal of it you privately find a thing to entertain you.

It can totally be boring. I think there needs to be more planned activities and entertainment. I was head of plenty of committees. It wouldn't take much.

I was in charge of different committees. We put on different era dances, founders day events, carnival, all kinds of things. If we're going to be stuck here we should at least be happy and have some fun.

I never got to go out and explore it much, Monsieur Phantom. Mama always kept me inside the opera house to rehearse. I miss the parts of it I visited, but I miss our home more than anything.

I do in some ways, I suppose, but when you are used to a place--attached, you might say--it is hard to...let go. I hardly miss people, but places... I have a passion for beautiful architecture, mademoiselle. Paris is full of such buildings, such grandeur.
