I quite miss Paris. This place can become such a bore. I suppose this is what happens when you have a lover that doesn't share the same strange sleep schedule as you

I do not consider myself any sort of amazing musician, but I would share with you, yes.

I am sure you are talented at your art though. I have written quite a few pieces here. My lover sings, though I continue to teach her how to perfect her voice.

I do not sing in any professional way, but simply for the love of it.

Is your wife a bard?

As do I, but my lover, Christine, she sang and danced in the Paris Opera, though she also has a passion for music I have helped to instill in her.

She is not my wife yet, dear lady, and she is not a bard...at least not in the traditional sense, I suppose. She performs these operas, and an opera is--in the simplest terms--a story told through song, performed on the stage with lavish sets and costumes. Do you have such a thing where you are from?

Nay, but we do have music and bards and minstrels. And we sing to the stars and the Valar, and the beauty around us, and there are those of us who can hear the Music of creation and share it with us. Nelyafinwë's brother, Makalaurë, is an incredibly talented bard.

And at my wedding, we had dancing and singing and stories told late into the night.
