So you'd be a fan of Spaceballs?

Oooh, Mel Brooks! Isn't he the one who wrote that whole History of the World: Part I business, at the cinema? That was some funny stuff, all right...! I mean... yes, I think I WOULD like Spaceballs...! Do you happen to have a reel of it available or summat?

As for what - year it was - and may I just remark on what a crazy, crazy question THAT is, really - but I suppose this Island takes all sorts (heh!). Anyhow, well... I was born in 1959, and - well, died in 1982...!

Says the magic user to the immortal.

But yes, History of the World Pt1 but also Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. I'm sure there are DVDs of the movie around somewhere, everything is here somewhere.

Sorry, but... what's a DVD? I mean it's something I can watch films on, I gather but... other than that...!

Connor Macleod of the Clan Macleod at your service. I was born in 1518 and it was 2012 when I came here.

It is a digital video disk, like a small record that has a movie recorded on it.

Oh wow...! I mean... just... wow! Heh! Sorry, sir... I bet you get that a lot...!

As for the digital video disks, well... those sound Interesting...! Ta very much for telling me about them! I take it that they can be viewed from "home" then (I mean, not that I'm quite ready to call this place Home yet!) rather than being forced to sit in a cinema with a bunch of rowdy people? Heh! Must be very nice in the future...

It wasn't something I advertised back before I came here.

Movies are still shown in theaters, the DVDs usually come out a few months after they show theatrically. But yes, the DVD players are tied in to the TVs and you watch them that way.

Indeed, I'm sure you didn't, sir, given how many paranoid Muggl er, People there are, who would naturally think that someone who's lived for 500 years (well... almost!) is very naturally Cursed, and possibly a Curse himself...! I mean, it isn't fair, and it isn't right, but... well... I think you understand what I mean, given that you did in fact keep it under wraps for so damned long. Heh!

But still, regarding the DVDs - well, that's nice to hear...! I assume some of the saner, quieter people of the world in your time just wait for the - DVD release instead of having the interrupted experience in the cinema? Heh!
